Has anyone had problems getting the Acura dealer to accept an E-Load powercheck for their 04TL?

I was told by eLoan that Nalley Acura accepted their paymnet, was told by the saleperson that Nalley accepted the payment and then was denied by the finance guy. He said they didn't get paid or had to wait too long to get paid or something. This happened to me once before, so this time I had a backup loan from Wachovia. When the finance guy said no, I said no problem, I have buckup financing. He asked about the eLoan rate, which was 3.89 at the time and said he would match it, so I went with them. Funny thing, it was financed through Suntrust and not American Honda Financing.Originally Posted by wstevens

I think they might have had some problems, but would rather make the extra money off the interest if they can. As long as the rate is the same, I don't care who gets it.

Dealers often do not use American Honda Financing to finance cars. Very often they have a list of local banks that are willing to finance car loans and they shop for the best rate...

Gotcha. When I bought my Honda Accord in '95, it was financed through AHF (I think that's what it was) and not a local bank. When I bought my 01 Suburban, I tried to use eLoan and was denied and it was financed through Chevy Chase, which is not local either. I did have luck using eLoan for my 99 Tahoe, but that's probably before the dealers had the problems (supposed problems, at least).Originally Posted by Havok423

I guess the point is, who was successful using eLoan lately?
