I'm in Riverside. Purchased from Weir Canyon Acura in Anahiem Hills. Purchased in June, 05 WDP no navi $30,500.00 not including tax, etc. They might still have 05s, but the 06s are out now. I also purchased my 05 Odyssey from Weir Canyon Honda next door. Great service, prices are as good as anybody else.

sccpu3d, you're only 17. How are you able to afford a TL?? Mom and Dad buying it for you??

Does it really matter how he gets it? As long as he doesn't steal it, it is really not much concern to us how he gets his hands on one of our beloved TL's. Just consider him lucky to be able to become one of our family.

Try carsdirect.com first get a quote from them then shop around.

Don't settle for buying it in your area, a few hours drive to save yourself a few grand is worth it.

05 w/o navi 3 weeks ago from Acura of South Bay $30k. Ask for Marouon (Pernounced Marwan) Great guy! He'll lay everything out right in front of you. No hidden costs.

All I can say is, Sierra Acura in Alhambra is a piece of crap. Their service department WILL NOT take care of you. I'm not sure if it's my age or what, but just from personal experience, it's horrible service there.

Glendale Acura seems a bit run down too, I stopped by there to pick up my Comptech RSB. As far as they're concerned, I question the staff a bit. I called in about the RSB a few days prior, they said they had them available. I call back, a different guy answers and states that ALL Comptech parts are "on order only." Basically, they didn't have them. Well whatever, I was passing by, and I bought it. Why would you tell a customer you don't have a product?

I hear Thomas Acura is pretty good though. My friend purchased his TSX there, and my other buddy takes his 2nd gen TL there for service. I'm gonna take my vehicle there for a few repairs and see for myself. But as for Sierra and Glendale, forget it.

I bought my TL a while ago, I don't know how negotiable prices are, but when I was looking, the dealers weren't really to budge much. I'm pretty sure at whatever price you buy it at, they'll throw in those accessories if you ask for it.

I have met alot of great people on this site, but I have noticed that most TL drivers I have seen on the road aren't very friendly.

They seem kinda pre-occupied or snobby.

Which is very contrary to those I have met on this forum.

We should make it a rule, that when we see a fellow TL owner on the road, we should say hello, wave or even a thumbs up would do.

same here, but i don't take it personal. there are many factors to why you get no response...

- many buy cars for the sole purpose of getting from point a to point b. they don't care if they see the same car on the road

- those who don't respond back aren't from the forum. i'll guarantee if it was another forum member, they will respond back, plus you've probably met them at a meet

- acura's marketing target buyers who would less likely to be "forum members"

i hardly see anyone on a daily basis. the only time i get to see fellow car enthusiasts is at meets. we do have AZ stickers though and another thing i look for is the license plate frame. if the dealer frame is gone and replaced by something else, it's possible that it's a fellow enthusiast

That is very interesting. I had the exact opposite experience with Thomas Acura. The service department was rude on the phone and they charged much more than other dealerships for the service. They are ranked near the bottom overall as far as Acura Service departments are concerned across the country. The sales department is decent though, provided you roll up in a Benz.

With that being said, I take my car to Metro Acura in Montclair. They have a great service department in my experience thus far. I had two services done, one rattle "fixing" trip and the Comptech RSB installed at Metro. In addition, my friend has a MDX and has received the same treatment. I live in West Covina, basically 5 minutes away from Thomas Acura, and I would never take my car there.

I purchased at Cerritos Acura. But it's too far to go for services. I've had OK experience with Thomas Acura Service. But I think I'm going to try Montclair next time. Thanks for the referral.

I bought mine from Acura of Glendale from John Mack who is a nice guy. Cost was $35500 with NAVI and no other extras, OTD, for 2005 TL. Been buying extras from EBay for significant savings and looking there also for warranty options that I understand are a much better deal than a dealer will give you.

I've brought an 06' Royal Blue TL with Navi for $33,600 OTD at Sierra Acura on Oct of this year. They also included truck tray and wheel locks for me at no charge. I think they are good. Just depend on who you talk to. I ask for William. I didn't have time to pick up the car so they have someone drive the car for me to my office and all I need to do is sign some paper and cut a check to them. Save me a lot of time. No hassle or what so ever. Price was right and did not negotiate. Just ask for William or Steven

I also purchased my car from Heidi at Acura of Glendale. Best car purchase experience yet! Great price ($31,700 2005 AT with Navi) all done over the internet/phone except of course for the contract signing and pick-up.

A few weeks back I bought a new 05 TL w/o navi, auto for 29,900 from ACURA South Bay from Justin. Great guy and an excellent sales experience. Only problem so far is that they have not paid off my trade in and I am getting past due notices It's not Justin's fault but the stinking finance office!

i'm with you on that. i bought mine from Thomas..., good sales and they took care of my concerns. service however, seemed to not be attentive enough of me. even with appointments i still had to wait a bit. quite stingy about loaner cars, so i stopped going there after a couple times. Sierra Acura in Alhambra has pretty good service. not sure about their sales. a great service person i deal with is "Angelo" if anyone is interested.

for sales, the person i dealt with at Thomas Acura is no longer there. i however have dealt with couple people from Santa Monica Acura, and they are very curteous. the general manager is Alex and he will be helping me with 2k6 TL soon.

good luck 'Uravin'...

Keyes Acura Sucks! Make sure not to go there! They'll lie to you over the phone just to get you to go down there, then they'll try to scam you into paying more than they agreed upon. Make sure to check all paperwork if you actually go there.

I bought my '05 TL w/ Navi from Santa Monica Acura. See J.C. or Julio. They'll definitely take care of you.

This is encouraging, I am planning to purchase a 06 TL AT w/Navi within a month... your price sounds good and the dealership is close to me...

Justin is the man! Got my 05 TL w/o Nav for 29,900. They had a a few left back in late November. Give them a call...I think he quoted me 33,200 for an 06 w/ nav. He is straight forward guy and is real patient and helpful. Oh yeah, did not need to negotiate w/ him.

Try getting online quotes see who can offer a better price. South Bay was one the first to respond and their price was way lower than the others. I tried to use the quote was leverage to get a better deal from others but they could not beat it at the time. I guess it all depends who has an over stock of the model you want.
