anyone from MA have problems finding a dealership?
Hi guys, new to the forum, just went from a 2000 bonneville ssei to an 04 Acura TL 6mt with navi. I have a few warranty issues, bad O2 sensor and the headliner falling down in the rear. My problem is finding a dealership! I called around, the closest one is and hour and 17 minutes away from me! Anyone else out there have this problem? Particularly in MA? Kinda a pain to drive all that far.

Jay – What part of MA are you from?? I am from western MA, and have also realized that there are really no close, within 80 miles or so, Acura dealers around (even though this is my fourth Acura). I’ve found that Herb Connolly Acura in Framingham gives top notch service. Several months ago when I was looking to buy a new 05 TL, I was less than impressed with the sales departments at almost all the local dealers (Herb included). They all seemed to give me the run around, possibly due to my age… Anyhow Montclair Acura in NJ (a sponsor of this forum) was fantastic and didn’t play any games. Ended up giving me by far the best price, but more importantly treated me with more respect and courtesy than any of the other dealers in MA and in CT. I have not used Montclair’s service center.
In short if your looking for good service work, give Herb Connolly a call. James Brown is the service advisor there. 800.696.9313
If your looking to purchase (which it doesn’t look like you are) then I’d make the drive to Montclair in NJ
Any one looking to go into buisness in western MA?? There seems to be a lack of an Acura dealer….
Hope this helps
Chad

I'm from Mashpee, MA (down on the Cape over the bridge). I called the dealership in Boston, they did a search on their computers and the closest one they could come up with was down in Seekonk an hour and 16 minutes when programmed into the Navi.

I almost bought a car from Acura of Avon but they were kind of rude so I went to Manchester CT where I had bought a previous Acura, now I'm in the same boat when I have to bring it for any problem ( none yet thank God..
).
Good luck!!

Sorry to hear about your problems. I go to Acura of Boston where i got my car. They are unfortunately almost 2 hours from where you are. I heard people being happy at Claire Acura which is slightly shorter of a drive and is off 128. Good luck.

jayare627, I live in Yarmouthport and bought my car from Herb Connolly Acura in Framingham. As Chad says, their service department is quite good. Jim Brown runs a pretty tight operation there. Claire Acura and First Acura are slightly closer, but I still always take my car to Herb. I don't know if you remember this but there used to be an Acura dealer on the Cape (like 12-15 years ago), but for some reason they couldn't make a go of it. Interestingly, the Cape is without any Lexus, Infiniti, or Acura dealerships, but does have Mercedes and BMW. Good luck...

When I lived in Cotuit, I bought my first Acura in Norwell, Now I live in Duxbury and just bought my '06 in Boston since the Norwell dealership is now closed (it was owned by the Boston guys and had great service which is what I expect from Boston, as well).
I probably have about the same ride you have to Seekonk. My only consolation is that the only service visits I had with my last one (and I hope with this one) was for scheduled maintenance.
I came close to buying something else, but the car is so reliable I don't think I'll have too much of a problem with an occasional visit to Boston.
Best of luck,
