I'm having a hard time finding a darn quality UV shade for my new TL-S... The $20 ones I've seen look too cheap... I want something that will really resist heat... I'm willing to spend $80 on it. Let me know guys (please provide link). Thank you!

The UV shade is a hassle......way don't you tint the windsheld with a 20% or 35% UV tint and that will save the interior and also keep cool year round.

Exactly! I was actually in the process for LAPD, LASD and PPD, but withdrew so I can finish school, eh. I wouldn't want to have a windshield tint fix it ticket to ruin my chances one day, ah!

I'm still looking for an high-end windshield shade...

Btw, most places won't tint the windshield... they wouldn't want to deal with the legal issues that may arise...

I use a product from Covercraft called UVS 100. It's custom fitted to the car and costs about $50 or so for the TL. The fit is really good and there is only a half inch gap on each of the 4 sides when it's up on the windshield. Only drawback is that it's hard and takes up some space in the back seat. I just ordered a HeatShield for my TL-S. I had one for my Accord and it worked great. HeatShield is an automotive windshield reflector, custom designed to fit the shape of each car model's windshield.

+1. I use the same shield and it works great. Bought it at autogeek.net for $60. The shield is fit to the car but they don't have the 07 TL-S as a choice. I just bought the one that fits the 06 TL and it works well. I have the black/silver interior and was worried about the interior getting really hot, but this shield seems to keep out alot of the heat.

Would the UVS 100 fit the '07 TL-S?? It won't list when I place the '07 model... How does the two heat shield covers compare?

Dtech, here is alternative option...have you looked up Eclipsesunshades.com...they have a great product that might be what you are looking for...just remember it's an alternative to what you are looking for. I have it on my 07 TL and it worked great for me....check it out ...might be what you are looking for and it's decent priced at $45 for customize fit for your car.
