I dislike the two clear strips on each of my 07 TL's OEM tail lights. If I purchase a set of the 04-06 OEM lights would they fit the 07 TL base model?

 

Well I wish we could come up with a solution to swap our tailights. At the very least I would be interested in purchasing your OEM 07 taillights.

 

Yeah, I don't like the 07 lights either. They can appear pink in some light. I just don't want to take my bumper off!

 

You can remove the rear tail lights actually without pulling the rear bumper off it is just easier to do with the bumper off. You just have to when you are unbolting one side of the bumper just pull it forward enough for you to remove the two bolts that the bumper covers up on the bottom of the tail lights.

 

yeah, i hate those new lights. they totally look pink. its either 04-06 or the tl-s. and yes, those will fit.

 

tail-lamps for all 2004-2008 TL in every trim are interchangeable. I suggest that you opt for the type-S ones, they look much better in my opinion and will make you unique.

funny thing is, with RBP being the BEST color hands down of ANY TL, I think it looks BETTER with the 07 clear base tails...which is why I took out my 06 red tails and put the 07 clear ones on

 

but yeah, its a direct swap

 

i'd b willing to trade my tails from my TL (2004) for your 07 lights =] what do u say?
