My less than 2 year old stock battery died on me last week. I have an emergency jump kit in my trunk. However I couldn't get it out! There wasn't any manual way to open my trunk. I tried to reach the latch through the center of the back seat, but I needed at least a 5 ft pole to reach it. I ended up calling AAA for a jump. Had the battery replaced under warranty at the dealer, it was dead. But I was thinking of the dude who engineered this one, must've been a smart fellow.
