Shades,

Try going to www.hondanews.com. Go to the TL section and there are some pics of the Desert Mist in the gallery there. Also the review of the TL on www.vtec.net had some pics of that color.

It is a weird color in that it is a very light gold and at time in some photos it almost looks like silver. I'm considering this color with a black interior. That color combo sounded weird to me at first, but when you see the actual car, it works. The TL with that color combo with some nicely tinted windows will look really nice.

I have added a new color to my list of choices. At first I as only considering Anthracite/Quartz. But I just saw Desert Mist/Black the other day. It is a sharp color combo.

Ray,

I've been going back on forth on the Desert Mist color. I was surprised when I first saw it in the flesh in combination with the ebony interior. I wouldn't go as far as saying it is eye catching as most colors in this range have a tendency to not be noticed but when it is clean and shined up and with some nicely (but legally) tinted windows, I think this car will stand out. The added benefit is that it will be easier to to keep clean. I like to call these colors, "road film metallic" since they don't show dirt. I just need to get over the idea I have in my head that this is an old persons color (think about how many Buicks are in this color range). Well, I'm 43, perhaps it is....

When I finally get my TL, I'm getting it in Desert Mist with the Parchment Interior. Looks like a Buick, good call Mook, but how many Buick's you see getting speeding tickets?

Also gotta agree with Mook on the "road film metallic color." I'm in PA, so snow and salt are a perpetual enemy. Silver and Beige are the only colors that seem to look acceptable in mid Feb.

Or, maybe I just have REALLY BORING taste.

Shades,

Most of the pics on the internet don't do the true color justice. It is a very very light gold color. Not much brown or pink in it like some other colors in this color range. Keep checking you local dealerships. There are three at mine.

Got the desert mist with Navi and Parch, looks ..great!The best thing was dumping the bridgestones tires and replacing them with Michelin,235-45-17 pilot A/S Wow what a difference,It transformed the car in to something really special.......at least for me.

This is color is easy to maintain. You need to see it in person. Internet and brochure doesn't show true color. It's a light gold color. My wife likes it.

I bought green/parchment
