Anyone have cleared headlights and switchbacks w/o diffuser

Hey guys i plan on doing my headlights soon and i like the switchback idea and i was wondering if anyone has pics with cleared amber diffuser with just switchback leds installed

Im trying to see if the led bulb will look out of place without the clear diffuser

Usr or type s diffusers are expensive, all modded headlights for non type s most likely have no diffuser.

I cant justify spending 120+ for a thing of plastic...
Do you guys think the led bulb in daytime would be an eye sore?

I use Triton V-LEDs non switchback, no diffuser in my headlights, can see my blinkers/markers perfectly fine. Probably just depends on type of LED you get

Visible LED bulbs is not an eye sore - it's cocky as hell and I'm proud of having the LED in there!

I never liked the look of the bare bulb so I did suck it up and bought clear diffusers.

the diffuser goes with the amber part...so when people say "cleared out headlights" it refers to removing the amber diffuser...
so how can you have "cleared amber diffusers"?

Tell me, how can you remove the diffuser while still keeping it amber...it diffuser is what make it amber!

Do you guys think there would be interest in a clear diffuser option for $30 or so? I read about making your own diffusers using liquid plastic and am considering trying it. If successful, I would probably make 10 sets to cover my costs, and then would give the mold to Ack or JNC if they would agree to keep the price low.

Bringing back from dead, I just pulled my amber defuser from my type s lights an I think it looks a little unfinished, where do you all get your clear defusers?

USR

I know a lot of people who would pay good money for your Type-S diffusers, but as you said, they do look different or "incomplete" without the amber inserts.

USR diffusers look "complete" because the inserts are still there, except they're not amber =)
The USR diffusers don't use inserts though, it's all one piece.

That's all I did was remove the amber insert, it looks good but I think it would look better if the inserts where clear, Maybe i can come up with something to put in there while I get used to it.
