Anyone has TL-S taillights on a Anthracite TL? I also like to know if anyone prefer the 07 base TL tails over the TL-S ones. let me know thanks!

I prefer the base tails to the type S, however I don't know if a swap is possible without buying the 07 LED board. It looks to be a different layout.

i ordered mine the other day i should get them sometime next week. i'll post some pics when i install them.
btw: someone has already installed the rear side markers, type-s tails and blinking side mirror. looks hot! he has an 04 nighthawk black. and the tails he said were a direct swap, no 07 LED board needed

thanks for the information! I cant wait to see pictures from you after you install them. I am not feeling the mirrors with turn singals. if we are going to have them, acura should've get rid of the front side markers. you can have one or the other. Having both blinking mirrors and side markers make the TL look funny. I am happy with the 04-06 models especially with the shape of the mirrors we have.

did you order type S or base? I prefer the base tails as I mentioned.
The link you gave is someone who installed type S, he also said our LED board lights up white, but another member posted pics that it actually lights up red
Is anybody going to try to swap with the base 07 tails?

I don't think many will do this, with having to get the new led board on top of the housing. I also don't think it's that good looking. The Type S is bolder looking.

the TL-P lenses look cheap, kinda like the new VW's and camry hybrid's using too much white in the tail lenses. The type-s lenses are pure sex and mean looking. mine will be in and installed probably tuesday

I think the 07 TL base tails look pretty clean since they are clear and red. They remind me of 2ng generation TL's. I really wanna get the TL-S ones cuz they look too nice with them chrome trims added. Someone please post pictures of them on 04-06 TL's.

the tl-s rear side marker match the front perfectly. I pay nearly 190 to order them at the local dealership in seattle. after seeing them on ebay for 105 plus 12 shipping, I knew I should've waited longer so that I can save some money. the good news is I ordered my type s tails and they should be on their way to me now. The price is not bad at all (205 plus 15 shipping) on ebay. I cant wait to install them on my anthracite!

so far, I installed my tl-s rear side marker 2 weeks ago. They are looking good since they match the front perfectly. I recommend people to get those instead having the red ones on base models. you cant go wrong with them!

They are great - snapped mine in today in under 15 minutes! No need to pull out the trunk sides as I read in a thread out here somewhere. Just pull back enough to get your hand in there to push the old light out.

The TLS sides look smokin hot !! The tails are next - once it gets warmer here

Prefer the base tails on silver but the TLS tails look good on darker cars...If I go TLS will most likely put in base tails...now about the pipes, prefer base there too???? Will dealer swap for base wheels too rather than pay for 18"...

There is a picture out here of somebody's ASM (Silver) with TL-S tails - I think it looks good! Hope to have mine installed in the spring when things warm up a bit here
