cuz sumone had theirs stolen here at my job..we have our own parking lot..fenced off..with just driveways open its a building with parking on both sides and cameras too. my co worker had his TL stolen yesterday at about 1:30pm. right in front of our job in the parking lot. im scared to bring mine to work now..they stole it in less than 2 minutes and took off..anyone else had this happen? im shocked and dont feel safe bringing my car to work..i work in hawthorne here in Cali...not bad where i work..right across from Northrop Grumann the aerospace company..im trippin out. is this common? and his was stock! mine has a few extras..im sh***** it!

I got pulled over about a week ago before my plates came. Cop said they are stolen so frequently that seeing mine with no plate was suspicious. I had taken off the dealer frame and paper, thats what he said made him pull me over.

He was nice about it and sent me on my way.

How do you know it was stolen in last than 2 minutes? what do the cameras show?

It also can be just towed away for unpaid tickets or maybe he didn't make payments on the car, those repo guys are good.

Did he at any time lose a key for his TL? It's not that easy to by pass the immobilizer, and if it was flat bedded, I'm surprised that no one heard it or made a note of it.

straight stolen..the cameras show a guy comes up, opens it, gets in and is gone! it wasnt repo..he filed a police report..and the guy looked like a hoodlum so im shocked myself..i always thought the TL was pretty safe when it came to that i am in TOAL SHOCK! no lie..like WOW and i know it was stolen in 2 minutes cuz the guy came up at 1:30 and was gone at about 1:32 thats what the camera time shows

I think the cop was mistaken, all the newer cars are hard to approach for a fast get in and get out. Every time I had a club on my car or similar anti-theft, I had problems, I stopped putting anything on, leaving even the stock alarm, no one even looks at my car

I had two cars of mine stolen in NYC, and on the 2G (00TL), they tried stealing it but they couldn't, so those mofos just stripped it in my garage...I wish I had 5 minutes with those guys, I will strip them, of their eyes, arms, legs, head.

In my underground garage, about 20 cars park, you have there new bmwz, benz, one TLS (me). one 99TL, a few Lex, audi, none have any anti-theft devices in place, and then there is one honda accord 2001, this is a stock accord, and the guy has super stealth club with a steel cover on the car and a loud ass alarm...I find that hilarious....

nahh this guy was a little tight in $$$ and gave a key to someone. Thats impossible to get bypass the system. in less than 1:30seconds. I'm guessing it took himn at leasr 30 seconds to get in and sit down.

not a repo job, and the camera was too far to tell if it was slim jimmed or if it was a key..either way..that f****r was good and knew damn well what he was doing.

Nope, served... I think it was a month or 2 for Ins. fraud. Released early and now is on parole. Would have been probation but he had a "record".
