Anyone ever purchase 6MT Ebay pedals?

Hey guys.

I am getting kind of tired of my pedals and want some aluminum ones, but OEM like and clean.

Anyone ever purchause Ebay pedals? If so, how is the quality and grip?

Thanks!

I just installed the same pedals. I picked them up here: CorSport. They're $10 cheaper.

They do, but I wanted a COMPLETE set with everything exactly the same. The dead pedals always seem to be a little different from when I was researching this stuff.

I decided to get the ebay ones since it was a complete set that means they all match perfectly, and they were cheap.. besides they are mostly covered by my feet anyways.. lol .. Ebay ones go for 69.95 shipped for all pedals. Strut king goes for around 60.00 shipped for the pedals alone, and then another 50.00 for the dead pedal.

Here are some links that I used when looking for pedals. These links should help you find the right ones for you:
- Ultimate Pedals TL Dead Pedal: http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...oducts_id=2857
- Strut King Dead Pedal (It is a rectangle, and not shaped like the TL deadpedal ) - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=dead+pedal
- Instructions on how to install the pedals: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/diy-strutking-aftermarket-pedals-install-636938/

- Link to the same EXACT pedals that I purchased off of ebay from the same seller. Still the same price 69.95 shipped. - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TYPE-...item483b8ae7d4

Good luck with your pedal search!

Here is a pic of my ebay ones installed. I was skeptical before installing them because they do not curve over the sides of the pedals like the strut king ones, BUT once they are on you can't even tell! The rubber inserts also help when you have a slippery foot!

No, not on the Strut King pedals. I like that though, you can keep your heel planted and the pedal slides under your foot as you accelerate. I haven't found it too slick in any circumstance yet, even with leather soled shoes... but I haven't driven with wet leather soled shoes yet...

Strutking ones look much better then the other ones but still look very cheap to me. They look like think aluminum or sheet metal no depth from the hole area.
