I saw a guy heading toward me in a black tl yesterday, and the shiny aluminum in the grill frame looked so out of place with all that black paint. Does anyone else notice this contrast? Maybe the guy I saw had his grill polished, and that was why it looked so odd.

Just wondering what others think.

I think the grill would look better if the features were still silver, but thinner.

actually, when the grill is reflected off the nbp, all you see is the grill, i like that, other cars you just see the paint, but the nbp the grill sticks out more. i guess we have different opinions

i love the way the grill sticks out on the black. thats one reason black is so hot a color on the TL.

Agreed, I love the way it looks coming from front. It looks like a monster V-8 exotic car from a distance on the way towards you.
