this is my first post here. Out of the lurking mode. I wanted to say that this is a great forum and it helped me quite a bit in my car shopping journey.

I am about to buy my TL very soon and I would like to know your opinion about the service packages that Acura offers for buyers. I would like to be more prepared before I sign the dotted line.

I live in upstate NY and the roads are horrendous here, so I was thinking of the tire/wheel protection package (I do not know the proper names) that someone mentioned on this site a few days ago. Our roads here are worse than a high quality swiss cheese ... Do you know how much it is and what exactly it covers?

I do not know what other packages Acura offers for our TLs and if it is possible to buy them later.

Any recommendation/advice/opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

P.S. : I just can't wait to get into this car. I feel like I have this uncurable Acura fever ...

 

I don't know all the service packages that Acura offers and they might be dealer specific. The protection package generally consists of the mud guards, wheel locks and trunk tray. Dealers usually give them to you free.
