anybody race a new si?

my buddy sold his truck for a brand new Civic SI coupe with navi and wants to run them. i already beat an RSX Type-S.. wouldnt they run about the same?

You'll win. I wanted to race one the other day but he didn't want to race. It was perfect. Just me, him, and an integra on a big ass 4 lane freeway with no other cars...it was beautiful...but he didnt wanna race lol so we just cruised until we all split up.

True, I raced one in my 03' with all the bolt ons and it was kind of close... the si was modded too.. with mods they can push close to 200whp

I raced one about a week ago, and it was really close... his front bumper was at my driver side door most of the time... then by 3rd gear I slowly started to pull on him. We shut it down though, cuz we started to come up on traffic. I was surprised that it was able to keep up. Last time I underestimate one of those cars...

yea when i had my 01 CL-S i did a run with a buddys stock SI i was stock at the time too. he kept up all through 1st/2nd and once i hit third i started pulling away but not by much.

They are pretty quick.

He pulls off the line but I eventually catch him til we are dead even.

On a roll..he flies.

^ wow small world. your tammys brother/thao's cousin right? haha i think im supposed to get tatted up by your uncle sometime soon. ive seen you around at the chik-fil-a meets. btw im celines dude/thao's boy.

The Type R model of the civic can even pull on the S2000 Type S with ease.

I raced one from a dig. It was a manual. it was closed but once I hit 3rd i pull a few cars. I was I/H/P at teh time
