anybody paint the gray part of their Aspec kit?

as the subject states, anybody have colormatched the gray part of the Aspec kit? Since its plastic, I'm thinking of spraying it to match the rest of my TL

This is a novel idea... I was just pointing out to my friend that the newer TL-S valances are painted body color.

Yes....

Yes, the front and rear pieces are painted body color. Looks more finished in my opinion.

Some have done body matching and others have done the grey part in black to contrast the car. I like it the way it is with a contrast, it gives some sporty character to the car. The newer A-Spec kit looks almost boring and unnoticable.

I think the best job ever is ua6spec's carbon fiber inserts! Now that is the way to go. Just crazy expensive, it would end up costing the cost of the kit all over again! I tried replicating that on my own with vinyl a year ago. I planned to surprise the forum with a new mod. Hahaha, no chance, nice idea in theory and it would have definitely looked nice but there's no way to wrap all those compound curves. I thought a hair dryer would do the trick.... Wasted $40 on vinyl, haha. I still may do the front and a portion of the rear later.

^^^+1. The base 07-08 is one piece color match. While it makes the car look a bit agressive, the lack of contrast that the 04-06 provides was a disapointment.

May look different on 04-06 painted same color since the kit has more definition due the additonal piece.

the cf addon would look awesome but how much is it? like $400

I think colormatching it would make it more finish and complete. Think I'm going that route
