my dealer at Montclair said they are able to do the dvd conversion, but he didn't give me a price yet. so much technolgy is put into the TL that i'm worried adding the DVD conversion would some how mess it up. i know its still on warranty but i still want to avoid the pain that there might be problems with it.

just want to know from those who have it, who actually had problems. and how much you got it for?

i had the avelectronics box in my 03 cl-s and it worked fine did not interfere with the navi, they charged me 150 for installation, not a dealer. I installed the blitzsafe adapter myself. Keep us posted on the price. I may be buying my car from them within a month or so. GOOD LUCk

 

Ah, I guess you're talking about DCH in Montclair. I was in there about 2 weeks ago on my lunch break (teacher in Montclair) checking out the TL. They had NBP/Camel in the showroom w/DVD in glove box and back-up camera. Dealer said total price for the two was either $1400 or $1600, can't remember exactly. I posted on here about it. Dealer didn't say if if could be used while driving. I believe that the DVD install was around $900, I could be wrong though.

 

900 is too much just get the kit and a small dvd player and have a shop install it
