I called both the insurance company and the Finance Manager and basically they said that it was the other guy's job to send my refund! Then the Finance Manager said they had to "coordinate" the refund with the insurance company. I guess they both have to surrender their part of the refund and put it together somehow? He said he couldn't expedite it, either. I read on another forum that the Office Manger could be the person who could actually help with that end of it but I haven't looked in to that yet.

No, it was a third party warranty (one reason I cancelled). They already acknowledge it was cancelled. Now the warranty company and the finance people say it's the other guy's responsibility to issue the refund.

1. I purchased Extended Warranty from dealer 7 months ago for $2300 up to March 2013 or 100K miles. Since the price is way too high, I am thinking about cancelling it and re-purchasing it from a 3rd party. Please let me know your thoughts. I could get refund of about $2000 prorated.
2. Tim (I believe that's his name) from hondaacuraworld.com does not seem to offer what I am looking for = 0 deductible coverage for my 25K miles 2006 Acura TL for additional 5 years or 80K miles (7 year / 100K miles original extended warranty). So I found this website: http://www.curryacuracare.com/
Has anybody purchased from this vendor?
3. If there is other vendors, with good service and pricing, please share.
All and all, with gas pricing keeps crawling up, I could use extra $500 by just doing this...
