The plumbing would be relatively complicated (compared to an inline motor) and you'd get disappointing results if you didn't go the whole way with lower compression pistons, bigger fuel injectors, bigger fuel pump, new fuel maps, less restrictive intake/exhaust, etc...
A supercharger kit doesn't make much sense either with the compression we run unless you decide to use water and/or alcohol injection to get some of your timing back.
And...I wouldn't up the horsepower in any case on the 5AT. Too brittle and no LSD...
Needless to say, Acura didn't make the TL very upgrade-friendly.
