I'm new to the forum, new to Acura.

Just got an 08 TL automatic, not type s.

I also haven't been too hands on with cars previously beyond changing some lights, swapping out cd players, etc.

Any suggestions on what I can do to my new baby?

I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how.

So far, I'm going to try to figure out the right LED blue lights for inside, then get blue door sills if I can find em.. and then add a rear sway bar.... after that there are just so many options, its hard to figure out where to start.

As far as mods, just start browsing this forum. You can do just about anything to your TL, just depends on what look or performance you're after.

 

one thing at a time my friend. pick something...buy it...install it...enjoy it...then move on to the next thing.

don't take on too many projects at once. good luck and have fun!

 

Browse the forums. there are a lot of build threads.
you can pick up ideas on how you want to build your car.

it is your car.
find out what you want to do.

 

check the photo section. everyone who is a DIY'er has a thread for themselves to catalog their progress. they have pages of discussions and tips for their little projects. you can learn a lot this way, since someone already offered links and assistance, plus you get to see all sorts of colors with different styles and you'll get your own ideas and your creative juices will start flowing!

Welcome Maverick!! I would suggest that you browse the photo gallery as Veggie stated...Find the thread that corresponds with the color of your car (eg. Got NBP Thread) and look for ideas...then start spending your hard earned $$$ like everyone else

 

alternatively, look at other colors as well. i actually edited that out of my reply, but the different colors have different 'styles', and i think it's nice to TASTEFULLY cross the styles. (eg, not the guy with all the red accents)

If you don't have tint, tint looks great on any color.
