any solution to a weird drive home

So, Im leaving work tonight... i unlock the doors.. funny, i noticed that one of my license place lights is out.... oh well no biggie i will just order another from superbrightleds.com...... as i get into the car i look around .... oh wow, one of my rear interior lights is out... OK , guess i will be buying 2 new LED lights....... then as i drive off, i notice that my L seat heater light is out.... The controller still works and the H/L still lights up ..... but the button itself is not lit... i don't want to take the car back to the dealer bc the wiring for the EDFC is there.. My question is this... is there a light bulb in there that can be replaced or do i need to buy another switch... i found the switch online and its about $25...... if there is a bulb that can be replaced does anbody know the part #... thx

When my cruise control light went out, the dealership replaced the entire switch and not just a bulb. So you may just have to swap out the entire unit.

Luckily for me, I have multiple bulbs that are out in the car currently. Next time I go into service, I'll have them swap it out under warranty. However, knowing my dealership, they will have me go in, and then order the part so that I will have to take it in again another day.

Yay.

I just checked and maybe luckily for me as i suspected i did not splice any wires for the EDFC from the heaters.. I spliced into the ACC in the center armrest.... maybe i will let the dealer replace it but im afraid they are gonna give me shit for all the wires.

With a number of things not working, I would wonder about a wiring issue or possibly a fuse. Need a wiring diagram to know for sure, but you don't usually see a number of bulbs go ouy all at the same time.

That is kinda what i thought but i couldn't imagine that 3 bulbs would be linked somehow.. im gonna try to take a good look at all the lights and see if anymore are out... if anybody has a schematic and knows how to read it please share.. but im about to buy a couple of 12LED and see if they work

Checking all the other lights might give you an idea (look for common circuits that are having problems). With the various items that you're seeing, probably a long shot that they have anything in common as far as wiring is concerned.

The other thing you can do is take the "bad" buld and put it in a known good socket. That would quickly tell you if the bulb really IS bad or not. Or you could try a known good bulb in the suspect socket. Just looking to do a substitution of something of known condition into something of unknown.
