I want them badly but cannot find reliable info on if there is damage going to be done to the way the tl breathes yet by adding the lower fogs. someone has got to have a replacement part for those plastic grill inserts by now I would think. hope. arggghhhh.

When I had my bumper off, if the fogs go in those lower corner grill spots, it shouldn't have any affect on airflow to the radiator or the intake box.

if you can wait a couple of weeks, that weekend i'll go to a shop and have them try and custom build me something so that fogs will fit in there.

The 2-1/2" x 6" Xenarc HID X1010's ($299 incl freight at Autobarn.com ) will fit perfect if you cut the grilles. They require a 3” X 6-1/2” X 5” space for install.

Install shouldn't be too hard if you remove the bumper as in a CAI install. You can trim the grills for a OEM look and they come with wireless switching so you don't have to go through the firewall. Or you could run a relay and switch them via the OEM driving lights.

The only problem I see with installing lower fogs in the lower grilles is the angle of the nose. With the headlights they're stepped, but fogs aren't so either the would stick way out on outside and flush on the inside or vice versa.

They may look goofy.
