Anyone have a pic a the TL dash without the navi? The only pics i've seen are ones with the navi

 

I believe the same screen is there but it isnt capable of showing maps etc just text for radio or other information.

 

hickdoc - how do you like your '04 TL White Diamond Pearl with Navi? Happy with your choice?
The reason I ask is I pick mine up tomorrow after work.

 

It doesn't look the same. It's split into two small horizontal windows from what I remember. The 8 inch navi screen is not there.

I finally got to look a TL over the other day. Evidently the ones with navigation systems haven't arrived here in Atlanta yet.

The dash w/o navigation left me with the feeling that you used to get in cars when there were covers over places where options buttons could go (if you didn't have the option). It just had an incomplete feeling to it.

There's a very narrow display up above the nav (or stereo) display. The car that I sat in only had a digial clock there. Is this the same in cars with navigation systems?

 

The cars with Navi have the HVAC display up there..

JRMoore, take an afternoon and go up to Athens.. that's where I got my Abyss with Nav.. on October 5th. Atlanta can't get selection to save it's @$$. It was worth my hour trip from Riverdale to Athens. Local dealers told me December to get an Abyss with Navi.. AThens told me next day. Gee.. wonder where I went.

 

 

I wish I were in Miami with those nice palm trees......

hickdoc - just got it home. And, as others have already noted: OMG.
This is the 4th Acura I've owned and by far the most stylish. Will let you know more about it, when "I" know more about it.
Oh, XM radio and DVD-A are out of this world.
BTW - I had a heck of a time concentrating during the 1 2/2 hour shakedown my salesman spent with me. There we were inside MY car (lol) and everybody and their brother were walking around it, looking inside, with my overhearing two couples asking the other salesman if there were any more available in white with the parchment.
My salesman told me just before I left that both couples put down $1000 deposits on the exact same vehilce even though they weren't expecting another delivery of white/parchment for 6 weeks.
You are going to love yours.
