Any differences between '07 and '08 Type S?

I am new to Acurazine, so my apologies if this has been asked before (as Im sure it has), but what are the differences between the 2007 Type S and the 2008 Type S?

I have been looking for a CPB 08 for some time now, but was wondering if there are any noteworthy changes/additions/differences between the 07 and 08 models.

Thanks for the help.

I don't think there are many, if any. Only the 8 instead of a 7 and hopefully less mileage?

Found this on Wikipedia:

"The 2008 TL features an improved new immobilizer system, and a separate Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning lamp. The navigation system has been updated to work in Hawaii, and the AcuraLink satellite capability has been expanded to incorporate 76 markets (up from 38 markets for the 2007 model)."

So, nothing you really will notice.

how is the 08 tpms system any different than the 07? mine is an 07 and I alrdy have a separate light on the dash for the tpms.

also I think the navigation itself is the same, it's just they used an updated disc, which the 07's can use too

I don't have any specifics, but from my experience my 08 Type S's have been more finnicky. I have no reason why, but for example, both of the 08's I have had did weird surging or had a little power loss in warmer summer months more than what one would consider normal (one was auto the other manual). My 07's did not experience this whatsoever. Another thing I noticed was that my 08 that I sold last month would never consistently stay connected to my iphone5. Then, the 07 I recently bought stays connected perfectly and I did not change a single thing. No clue what was up with that.
So since both of my 08's did weird things in the summer months, it almost leads me to think something has to be different, but either way whatever it is, I have had much better luck with the 07's...could totally just be a coincidence though. So personally, if I had two identical Type S's next to each other for sale and one was an 07 and one was an 08, I would take the 07 lol.

Thanks for the info, y'all. JTS97Z28 that is good to know. My only thinking was that since 2008 was the last year of production for the Type S, that I would try to get one of those over the 07, but I think someone else mentioning the bluetooth problems with the 08 cutting in and out.

But now if I can find either with less than 60K miles, the year doesn't matter it seems.

Plus, it's cooler to say you have an '07, rather than on '08. Just sayin.

Haha, I'm sensing some bias perhaps..

I finding some prospects, but they have the damn beige interior. I want black/grey seats i think, although with 30-35% tint, it might not really matter.

the only thing for sure that is different in my experience is that one is a 2007 and the other, you guessed it, is a 2008.

Well my 08 type S is problem free, and rides great in the hot summer here.

The power surge seems to affect random TLs, there have been many theories as to the cause; app sensor, heatsoak, battery, etc.
