i heard peeling can damage paint. Instead, use toothfloss and "Saw" the pieces off. The 3m tape should be easier to saw off if it is warmed up with the water. you might need to polish the area when your are done.

Just use a hair dryer to warm them up and then run floss behind them, eaisyer then hot water. They will come right off then just rub the glue off and wax the area to get rid of any marks. Didnt leave a spot on my 06 WDP

I didn't debadge my TL yet but when I did my VW. I used a hairdryer to heat it up then used dental floss and finished it up with bug/tar remover to get rid of the gunk left.
I heard Goo Gone or something similar works good.

just use fishing string takes 5 mins for both acura and tl emblem. spray like wd40 or goo gone on it on and off and rub off the 3m tape takes a little bit but other then that, thats it. whatever you do don't get the bright idea of using anything sharp, i know some people who just f up there car they make no sense good luck! haha

I was washing my car one day in the summer and just decided to pull them off I used some fishing line and it came off with most of the adhesive. Just use a blow dryer to heat them up and use the floss or fishing line if you have it to "saw" behind it. If it is really all you'll have to do is pull from one side to the other.

I just did mine yesterday I just got a flat head screw driver and got the right amount underneath the letters and popped em off one by one, literally took 20 seconds... The 3M on the other hand was a handful to get off.. But a little bit of elbow grease and nail polish remover helped.

I removed the A a couple of months ago. I used a heat gun and what looked to be a piece of thin fishing line. It was included in a kit I got from Amp'd emblems. It came off real easy no marks or scratches. The glue that was left was not a problem. The A is the only one that has guide pin holes.

Looks clean & easier to clean. There is a long tradition of debadging cars.

Either one. Doesn't matter.

^^ todays edition of "how to screw up your truck." lolll
-you might find that dental floss breaks on you, otherwise fishing line will be alot stronger. but maybe thats just cuz i have really thin dental floss for my teeth! lol

fishing line is better than dental floss, the fishing line is stronger and the dental floss tends to break. either will work, you'll just end up using more dental floss than fishing line.

debadged my old rsx. i live in texas and decided to do it during a string of 100 degree days. glue was already soft enough to debadge with just dental floss and my finger to rub off the remaining goo.

Yeah, that's why I'm not debadging miine. I did on my black Jetta and it was left all scratched up afterwards.
