Another TL Scale Model

At the SEMA show, Acura was apparently giving out 1/64 scale model TL's. These are by Muscle Machines and have the A-Spec package. Color is similar to Redrock. They also had a limited run of blue ones that they gave out at the Chicago(?) new model intro a couple of months ago. Supposedly there were only 2000 of these made. Somebody sold 5 of these on ebay ($60 range). The new ones (red) are on ebay right now from several sellers. Search on Acura TL Muscle and they'll show up. I don't know how limited the production is. (I'm not a seller for any of them). It will be interesting to see if a variation of the TL model ever appears in their "consumer" lines and shows up at Wal Mart and other places.

Yeah, I need to pick up one of the mass produced ones at Wal-Mart or somewhere. I'm hoping someone makes a 3rd gen TL die-cast in a bigger scale. 1/18 or even 1/24 would be ok.

errrr...why? If it's $5.99, then I might consider buying it. For $60 plus, com'on... why don't you TAKE A PICTURE of your car and print it in color,

The $60 was for five. Still overpriced? Probably. I'm not sure what the collectibility and resale market is on this stuff. If a mass-produced version appears later, it won't be quite the same thing. But the box might be the majority of the difference.
