Another Nubie... with questions!!!

First great site!!! I ordered my 04 TL last month, SSM, AT, Navi, rear wing and should have it sometime next week. First where do I buy the clear front turn signals I see some people have? Is there a website for aftermarket stuff? Second, what will I gain from the Injen or other Cold air intakes?

2004 Intrepid Police Package
2004 Explorer Limited
2004 TL on Order
2005 Lotus Elise On order

Congratulations on winning the Connecticut Lottery and for joining the TL forum. Did you get a four car garage on the new house or isn't it finished yet?

The clear lenses are not accessories. One of our members who will announce himself, I'm sure, removes the amber lining from the inside and sends them back to you. That's the word on the street, anyway. I'm OK with mine like they are.

Welcome aboard! Please answer the following questions as part of your initiation into the Acura TL family:

1. Did you get the protection package?

2. Do you intend to commit to XM Radio for the life of the vehicle?

3. Will you try the Sport Shift transmission?

4. Is the California Dash Duster in your future?

5. Does your girlfriend have puffy nipples?

6. Ever hear of Zaino?

The protection package consists of four rubbery winter floormats, rear splash guards, and the rubbery trunk liner. Serious performance upgrade. You get a silver badge that says "A-Spec" on it, to denote the protection package you purchased too.

Um, is the Intrepid with police package not a police exclusive, or are you a cop?

This is the most honest answers I've ever seen since BJ has reigned over this forum for three months. :toothless

Return to the subject, Congratulations for your new ride. If you're really doing any cop-related patrol, please please don't pull over any speedy-like 04TL. Thanks. Scott.

If you have to, please give them warning instead of tickets. :o

Tickets go to the speedy G35 drivers. Kudos go to the folks driving TL's.

Thanks... I have to work other deals with other cop members in this forum now... one done, 3 to go.

BTW, you may know there is a recent thread talking CAI stuff. You may like to check it out. http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81949 or hit the search buttons for further CAI info.

TLGator, I try to cover your butt too when you drive north. :o

Either that or he married well. Cops aren't paid that well. It's elementary, Watson.

I think all cops deserve to be paid for what they do. Most aren't. If you look at the listing of cars for Scott, that would be a strain on a Captain's pay if you also had a family and a home.

I was joking but it looks like he may have come into some money.

My sister is a multi-millionaire and she doesn't have a stable of cars like that. Close, though.

1. Wife might not be happy that you didn't say that you don't have a girlfriend... just confirmed her (the girlfriend) not having puffy nipples...
2. Being a cop doesn't mean he is pennyless. Thats what inheritence is for or maybe he just got the cars at private auction after taking them from drug dealers? Or he might just be a bad cop in the pay... of course since I visit CT every now and then and wouldn't like to get in his bad graces I'll just say he might have gotten a huge reward for saving some people and being a hero... of course he's never confirmed being a cop...

This is funny...

I'm not sure if my stable of cars qualifies me as a millionaire, the Dodge Intrepid, technically is not mine, the Explorer is my wifes, again its an Explorer, not Cayenne Turbo... the TL will be mine, and the Lotus? It only cost slightly more than the Explorer. Now if there were Ferarris, and Lambo's, etc.. then I may need to be called into question for possibly unethical practices.

BTW... Wife makes a great living!
