Another Guy on a Bike Gets his Feelings Hurt…

You know, we can put this all to rest with dyno numbers. We don't need for the OP to travel all around the US, & pick us up for a ride in a car that may not be as fast as a z06 (we can test drive one at any local dealer).

My car made a shade over 400 whp and 400 wtq on a dyno jet (not some mustang dyno). I will look for the graph for you guys. Not really something I'm bragging and posting everywhere about. I'm still deciding if I want to supercharge my C6 or move on to my next project. I could have dumped the over $12,000 I put in this car modifying it all into the engine, but I wanted to build a complete C6 (modified interior, exterior, audio, and performance). I get compliments on the car literally every day by random people. So all you would be jealous about is if my car made 600+ whp? OK man.
And what was the point of that vid? Nothing on the road takes out underground racing TT Lambos. Superleggera Lambos (this one with an exhaust) are easily smoked by even LS2 C6's WITHOUT forced induction.....

You said you had 400whp & listed all your mods in your signature. All am asking is how do you know what you have in your car not what a car just like yours has dynoed? Also is it 400whp or 440whp after the last mods?
My cars twin has 403whp but the last dyno I ran on my car was 375whp done before I matched up with the twins mods. Since I have not gotten a dyno with the new mods there is no way I will list my car at 400+ because I just don't know even if its twin has done it.

Has nothing to do with the fact that from a power stand point, there is nothing your car could show me in its current state that would impress me. There are literally dozens of your car at every Cars & Coffee with nothing more than a couple bolt ons. What's supposed to make yours more impressive to me than them?

I was impressed seeing how fast a 800whp Supra can climb from 60-160mph in just seconds. Watching a 400whp Corvette do 30-100 in around 7 seconds is not going to give me the same "wow" feeling.
I'll give it that your car is probably quick, but my experiences with higher output cars won't lead me to believe it's fast.

pohljm, after I read that from Rick, I laughed out loud and realized you're right about continuing on. I don't know why I'm wasting any effort towards this guy. Rick, you're a hater man, it's disgusting. Nothing is going to change that.

I know man. The LSx motors love boost. Just very $$$$$. I priced out the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger that I want at Corvette's of Houston. $9,000 installed and tuned. I'm so tempted to just swipe my credit card and end this going back and forth with myself about getting it done. We will see

These are “abouts” at normal pricing because they all run group buys & discounts all the time.
Typical Airport run RB setup
RB turbos $3300*
JB4/BMS flash 1100
intake 100
down pipes 400
FMIC 500
total $5400
*The new Vargas Turbos will drop that price to $2500 for the pair.
Best bang for the buck is JB4/BMS Flash for E85 $1100
Best 1/4 11.9/117mph on all stock 335is including RFT

Dyno Jet's read higher than Mustang's, ~13% higher. So, your numbers would be ~350whp/wtq on a Mustang dyno. Just sayin'.

First, sorry for bring back the dead.
Second, English is my secondary language so don't attack my grammars.
Thirdly, I witnessed a Victory Red C6 Corvette Convertible raced an 04-05 R1 (had one so I know). Also, by no mean I am trying to call out the OP post either, I just wanted to share what I saw last night and don't want to create another thread for just witnessing.
From the appearance, the R1 looked stock except deleting some plastic pieces and HID head lamps. I don't know what the C6 had either, but there were definitely not OEM exhausts.
Onto the race, it is a 2 lanes road and I was waiting at the light next to the R1 and was admiring the bike. The R1 guy minding his own business and was probably listening to his music (rocking his body). I noticed a pair of HID came up fast from behind us then stopped right behind the R1. I glanced over my right shoulder and saw the C6. Green light, R1 took off normal and of course I was in my little Nissan Versa, so the gap between me and the R1 is obvious. The C6 gunned after the R1, then cut in front of me and continued to pass the R1 (yes the C6 was WOT-ing it). The C6 passed the R1 a full car's length, then the R1 must have noticed by then and closed the gap and retaken the lead. They both came to the next light which the C6 had to stopped behind the R1 again because there was a "slow" car on his lane. Light turned green, R1 took off a little faster than before and the same with the C6. The C6 cut onto the other lane and passed the R1 which I also knew that was going to happen. Not because the R1 rider was bad, but right after the light is a slight curve with some bumps. The C6 took the R1 by at least two car's length by the end of the curve. As soon as the road straighten, it took the R1 few seconds to close the gap again and "appeared" to retake the lead by a whole bike's length before the C6 slowed down. It was 1/2 dark so I could still see the actions from my gas saver.
FYI, I wasn't comparing them at top speed either.

I need to switch over into his left lane and I really couldn’t see where he was. I make the move to the left lane and see he is a motorcycle length behind my car. At this point Im at 150mph, hit the rev limiter in 4th, and then stood the brakes immediately.

I can't believe this thread is still going. I dont know what's so hard to accept. My Vette runs with 600cc sport bikes from a higher speed roll. I've ran with so many now, I've lost count. Even had another run in last night with a group of guys on bikes. They love instigating runs, throwing some revs at me as they pass. It's like deja vu over and over....
Dirty, sweet Vette man. Good luck with her...
