Aluminum Racing Pedals - Ebay, anyone try these?
I can't seem to get a response from USR for the group buy deal for these...so started looking elsewhere...found these for $44 shipped.
Anyone try them?!
If so, how's quality and fitment please?
Thank you!

I actually ordered these.
I got them in about 2 weeks.
Installation wasn't too bad. Its just a little annoying laying there below the steering wheel. It took me about half an hour for my car which is AT.
I took off the rubber piece from the brake pedal because the screws wouldnt reach all the way through with it on. Then i marked and drilled the holes and attached the pedals. Dead pedal was by far the easiest. The biggest problem was trying to hold the nut behind the pedal as I tightened the hex screws. I used my fingers.
I would suggest maybe some 3m tape+the screws.
As for fit, the dead pedal and gas pedal were pretty much perfect. The brake pedal was a little harder to get on because the pedal is slightly curved, and the metal covers are more flat. But as I tighten'd the screw, it helped. I don't think you'll have that problem though since the MT brake pedal is smaller and more flat looking.
Overall, for 40 bucks you cant beat it. I'm thinking about having some vinyl decals made since they aren't engraved.

You have to call USR. He has his own shop (USR) and usually is not on his computer. If you call him, he'll give you a GB price and cheap shipping.
Call, call, call.
An idea of the savings I saved calling him. I bought a $180 LED Angel Eyes + $15 Wiring Harness for $135 shipped.
Most likely a lady would pick up from KT Campus which is an Office that caters to several companies I believe, but just say you're calling in regards to USR (Unique Style Racing) and you want to ask about pricing for the Pedals. You would eventually talk to Simon which I think is in charge.

i bought the same pedals from ebay about 8 months ago. Fitment was exact, installation didnt take long either, i used self tapping screws. took off the rubber cover from the gas and brake pedal. Whatever you do don't remove the black plastic cover off the dead pedal, just drill the aluminum pedal right over it

On some members cars I'd advocate using these, but on yours, brother?
....HELL NO. They look like cheap, Chinese no frills pedals and the price reflects that. The USRs look to be a step above this; bide your time and do it right with USR OR Ultimate Racing Pedals.

i would pay the extra dough and go for USRs pedals. i have them for my 2G with Type S engaving and they look amazing. i get compliments all the time. they have also held up perfectly through the harsh salty winter here in NY so you know they can hold up to anything Florida can throw at em

The acura symbol and the word Acura on the dead pedal.
Also, anyone know the contact number to him please?!?! USR website only lists the email address.
Ok, forget it, googled and found the number and exactly what you said was going to happen, happened. Except, he wasn't available but she took my info and what I was interested in and said she'd get back to me. Told her my screenname for AZ etc and interested in the GB price.

Per his direction, contact Simon via email to fish321@speedstersource.com
tell him that Jeremy sent you from Acurazine for a special price.

Jeremy I have those eBay pedals. They look good but they were the biggest pain in my ass to install.

I got sick of having my car as my avatar so I found something funny to put there.

Ok, so my clutch pedal started wearing past the rubber to underlying metal and since I don't need much of an excuse for a reasonably priced mod. I contacted Unique Style Racing for a set of aluminum engraved pedals.
Quality was amazing. Feel is great, can't wait to drive yesterday.
Install took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
I thought the brake/clutch would be the toughest, but they weren't at all since you can actually get to the back of the pedal to feel to put the washer/nut on. Take off rubbers, line up new one using the top and sides as a guide. Then mark with a sharpee...then start off with a small bit to prevent "walking" (since metal is too hard and it moves you can't really use a tap set) and to make it easier to get thru. Gradually up the size a little at a time until you can get a bolt thru.
Easy enough. Rear bolts are 6MM...so if you have a socket that size and a 1/4" socket wrench. You'll be happy.
The accelerator on the other hand, probably ate up 30 minutes of the install. I tried taping the nut and washer to my finger tip, no dice. Then I figured it out...put the nut INTO the socket since it holds it straight...then I used 2 tiny pieces of painters tape to hold the washer onto the socket (perfectly lined up the holes of the nut and washer)...worked like a charm. Also, do the top 2 first so you can wiggle the peddle up and down to get the angle you need.
Overall, super happy...they look amazing. It's the little things and details that really set your car apart from others.
Enjoy...

Don't get me wrong it does look nice and adds a perfect touch, but no one looks down there that often or even gets up close enough to even see it half the time. I'm tight on money though, that's why I opted for the $40 pedals which came out just as good as USR/Supercomputer pedals.
I found some form Taiwan (not China). Is this the seller you ordered from (3amotor)?

Here it is.
Once all that is removed, it is time to run the power wire from the battery.
The hardest thing I had to do in my ’02 TL-S was to find a grommet to run the power cable through. The ’05 is SIMPLE.
In the middle of the Engine Compartment about 8-9” down from the top you will see am empty grommet. Just pluck it out. Then push your finger in the grommet and you will feel the insulation. Once you rip a little hole in the insulation, just feed the wire through.
Below are a couple of pics showing the location of the grommet.
Once you thread the wire through, you go into the driver’s floor area and look up to the center middle console. My wire was just hanging out of the side there. Depending on how you thread it, you may have to fish around behind the middle console to grab it.
Once you find the wire, just pull it around to the drivers kick panel area, running it over other wires to keep it out of the way of the foot well.
Run the power wire down the kick panel and use ties to make it run with the flow of the current wire setup.

The aluminum pedals just gives it a nice interior touch. Looks alot better than the stock black rubber pedals in my opinion.
There's only so much that you can do to make the car 'go faster or handle better' but there's endless things you can do to enhance the aesthetics of the cars interior and exterior...

Wasn't trying to say you were a cheapskate, I'm with you on a great mod for 40 bucks, man. NIcely done, you are right about not seeing the emblem anyway!
PS, look at pics above...that's where I routed my power wire too.
Also, if you go under the car and look under the heat shield over the resonator, there is a huge rubber grommet that goes where the shifter cables route through, another option for wiring heavier gauge wire. Found it cause I tried taking a shortcut installing my short shifter and moved the grommet out of the way....couldn't figure out why my short shift mod made my center console feel warm.
