Question Alternator ???

i just got quoted a ridiculous price on an alternator.. $314.00! and it's not even in stock.... not the dealership either.. before i go on a which hunt for one,,, what year honda accord is the same as our 3G TL's? i would imagine it being much cheaper but the same exact thing... no?

if that option is not possible,. can anyone reccommend where i can order one,, rebuilt or whatver,, i thought tha's what they do anyway, give you a refurbished one, you give them the core - (local stores)

The TL would be similar to the '03-'07 Honda Accord V6. I would double check the part #'s though.

try local junkyard- in phone book yellow pages as Auto dismantling and recycling
They have a hotline phone that checks with other yards across the country for you

tried NAPA auto parts- kragen- autozone etc?

$314.00 is not crazy if it's a OEM alternator.

OEM part number is 31100-RJA-A02 (Denso brand) and the MSRP is $400.65
OEM part number is 31100-RJA-A02 (RMD brand) and the MSRP is $387.73
