Isn't that what the cops put on your car when you have too many unpaid parking tickets?

Although this is mainly a thread of photos, I'm moving it to the main 3G forum since it is a new product that others may find interest in.

This is all good until you get that one theif that tries to drive away with it on because he didnt see it. Then you going to have a TL with some jacked up parts. Have you ever seen the Simsons ep when they go to New York and Homer starts to drive away with the car boot on. Thats some classic comedy right there!

Looks nice, but it would not deter any theif slightly beyond a novice. The more serious thieves would simply tow the car away, or yank the wheel & pop on a donut. And...a novice thief wouldn't get past the built in security(RFID chip in key) anyway.

Put it on the guys car that parked in your space.

Good investment. But they can still breakin to your car and steal your airbags.

nothing beats a good neighborhood

I just drive my truck if i am parking in an area more prone to theft.

besides the truck is a black pathfinder with tinted windows & gold trim. no one messes with it because everyone assumes i am a drug dealer, LOL:-)

That's the most ridiculous thing I've seen and not sure it offers any additional "deterrent" factor over other more easily used devices. Probably as easy to defeat as any other barrel lock devices have proven to be. It doesn't even cover the lugs like the cops "boot" does either so any smart, calm, thief will just throw on the mini-spare and drive off. I'd bet there are better things the $100 can buy to keep your car safe. Seriously, yanking the proper fuses is going to be easier, cheaper and more effective at making your car undriveable.

Ha ha ha! I know of few people who does this. My friend has an riced out Integra and always pull his fuse when we go out. At first I didnt know what he was doing until he pulled the fuse. He calls it the poor man alarm.
