Almost here!!!

So, I'm sitting at work... twitching... because tomorrow is THE day! It's not coming fast enough! I'm gonna be installing my TEIN SS coils, TL-S ASPEC Kit, and my AEM Cai...! They're all patiently waiting in my garage! (Much more patient then I am!)

You can do that in 1 long day. I'd say 30 minute bumper removal for your first time, then the whole a-spec kit install...maybe 2.5 hours? Then the bumper is already off so you can do the intake in 1 hour. The Teins...ehh maybe 4-5 hours if this is your first suspension isntall? All depends also on if you have a helping set of hands.

So you might be done in like 9 hours without stopping.

Like I said, doing it by yourself and not rushing it will take more than a day....and youre going to be sore!

Good luck with all the install...let us know if you find or learn something while installing these (ie. easier way to get the job done, etc). And oh, post up pics when finished

LoL, it's all good guys! I got my bro helpin who is a mechanic, and a friend who is also! My other friend said he'd help me out too, and he's a semi-skilled tech! And I have already taken off the bumper for my headlight clearing, so I know the routine! So I shouldn't have a problem knockin out this whole project within a day with all that help! I got the spring compressor and all the tools! So don't worry bout me! As long as there's no serious complications, I should be rollin tomorrow night, low and slow! Well... I dunno about the slow part!

Nice man! I need to remove my A-spec sides and have them repainted damn paint mismatches I think with ASM you don't have to worry about that really though. Good luck with the install!

+1....it can be done. If everything goes smoothly with your suspension, it shouldn't take more than an hour per corner.

Hey guys, everything's on! Body kit's on, cai's on, and coils are on! So, I was working on my cai while my bro and friend were startin on the front coils. I finished the cai, and in the interest of time, instead of starting the rears, I moved onto the ASPEC kit. Once I got the front on, I walked over to see the progress of the coils... As I looked at the top of the front struts, I noticed something was missing! There were no adjustments for the dampening! So at this point the rears were being bolted in... I ran over, grabbed the manual, and guess what! It read... BASIC coilovers...! The box didn't even say basic or SS. I was pissed! But at that point, I couldn't do anything! So, needless to say, I'm going to see if, the shop will either let me swap them for the SS' (which I doubt), or at the very least, get the difference in money back! The car looks sexy as hell! But the basics are not what I wanted, or paid for! So, if I can't swap them for SS', I will soon have a set of basics on the BM very soon. And whatever process is taken to get the SS', I will be installing the EDFC next time as well! The car's dirty since I didn't wanna wash it yet since it's supposed to rain for the next few days. So when it's clean, I'll post some pics right away!

WTF they gave you basics

They should exchange for SS if you paid for the SS, and the EDFC is sweet man you should get it hehe

I love all the looks! And I love the AEM cai! The ride is more firm then I wanted, because of the mixup with the coils... I'm now debating to get the SS' with the EDFC or just a spring and shock combo, and sell the basics. Any input from anyone on how much smoother the SS' can be over the basics? Cause I want as close as possible to stock ride and feel...
