All Season Floor Mats

Search function is not working or I would have used that... I was just wondering if you guys prefer the acura oem all season mats or if there is a matter mat for the price.. I found some on ebay that have circular pockets that are supposed to be made to fit the TL for around $80 and of course there is weather tech, though i'm not sure about the $160 price tag for their special fit mats. What is your opinion?

when it comes to mats or rain guards, i prefer oem just to ensure it is an exact fit.

I prefer the OEM mats. What color TL do you have? Mine is WDP and I got the Caramel color and think it looks awesome. Weather tech is only a little cheaper ($80 like you said, I got new OEM ones on eBay for $103 shipped from Curry Acura).

OEM All weather mats looks great expecially with since it has the Acura logo. Just make sure you dont get black mats if you have tan interior. I used to work at an acura dealer and saw a few TLs like that and it looks tacky IMO....but if you like the look go for it.

Go for OEM. I bought some ones off of eBay that were custom cut, but had little divots to "hold" the water...well in this last snow, alot of snow came off my boots and melted on the mat the divots didn't hold shit....all the water ran off the sides and onto my carpet.

OEM FTW...or weathertech liners if you got the $$$

I see you want to get the all weather mats. A very wise move. I have the OEM mats and they are great! Very thick and have a nice lip on the edges to hold in water and dirt. Of course fitment is great too. Get the trunk tray as well if you don't have it.

+1 on the trunk tray. It came with my TL and I was genuinely pleased with how nice it is. I just wish the cargo net would fit with it too.

I think I remember reading that they will fit with it, you just need to cut something.

+1 on the OEM all-weather mats. I've got the black ones and they really are nice as far as fitment. Only problem with the black is that they really show everything; at least I know they are doing their job. Referencing the previous post on how to clean them, twice a week, I take a wet rag and scrub the salt off of them. Simple and it works. Also have the OEM cargo tray in the trunk and love it especially since I finally figured out how the cargo net is supposed to work. Nice to keep my Oreck hand vac in there.

How exactly do you fit the cargo net with the trunk tray? I have been trying to figure this out.

I've got the small net on the left side and use it to make a little pocket for my vacuum and some rags. Once secured, it kind of looks V-shaped. As far as the bigger net, to use it correctly, you've got to utilize the pegs that are on top of the trunk to secure the net in addition to some of the pegs that are on the floor of the trunk. Using the upper pegs creates a separating partition between the back of the trunk and the net which is about 12-18 inches or so. This seems to work pretty well. I know it is kind of absurd, my I to couldn't visualize how the damn thing was supposed to work. I know my post might sound confusing, but if you search for cargo net, you'll find the pictures that others have posted which show how the thing is supposed to go. Good luck.

I bought the Weathertech mats because they looked to be the same as OEM on their web site. They work just fine, but aren't a perfect fit and seem to loose some water/sand out of the edges sometimes. IIRC, they were like $70, and the OEM are like $110 from eBay.

Just buy the OEM, I'd say.

You unscrew the mounting nubs for the net, pop a hole in the tray at those points, put the tray in then screw the mounting nubs back in.

All weather oem mats fit great. Problem is, they leak the water run off at the front L & R edges. Right around the accel pedal and the dead pedal. The water really collects there and soaks the carpet. Looks like Acura took greta pains to avoid the possiblity of the mat interferring with either your foot of the pedal.

Curry Acura is the best bet for oem stuff.

Ok, being a landlord and standup guy myself. He should replace them, assuming you two have a good relationship.

You can poke a hole in the areas where the knobs are. Then unscrew the knobs and screw them in from on top so the holes are minimal. I bought my liner used and the guy cut huge frikkin holes for those knobs and dirt gets down there.

the oem floor mats have holes for the hooks that prevent them from sliding underneath the seat & interfering with airbag deployment.
