Alarm keeps going off!!!

The alarm on my 07' TLS keeps going off & I'm frustrated! It happened a few months ago and supposedly they fixed it, it had stopped but now its doing it again. WTH is the problem?

Is there anything specific that you're doing right before the alarm is tripped? In my case, for a little while my alarm went off every time I opened the trunk, due to some bad wires in the harness that included the trunk latch wire.

When your alarm goes off, look on your dash board to see on the cluster if it shows one of your doors open. If so, you might have a bad door sensor.

This could be a possibility but I had the same issue with my alarm going off randomly. Turns out it was my trunk latch so I replaced it myself. If it is a door sensor or trunk latch you will not hear the "beep" after pressing the lock button twice on your key fob as the circuitry is not complete.

Get ready for your HID headlights to burn out because they flash when the alarm goes off.

My son pulled the horn fuse just in case it goes off again, going to dealer on Thursday. I hope they find the problem.

True and not True

I had some water leaking into the fuse box underneath the dash which would trigger my alarm from time to time.

Alarm would activate normally. It was just a sporadic thing it would go off. Guess the moisture would trigger it.

What I discovered was if I left the drivers seat belt latched, it wouldn't trigger the alarm. ( weird but it worked )
