I have the standard airbox on my 06 TL and the air filter element is due for replacement. Is the stock Acura filter element fine or is there an aftermarket filter that works better? Thanks. Steve

 

Get the OE filter from the dealer. It's a very good, and well constructed, filter. Most of the aftermarket paper filters cost as much as the OE filter, and most parts places don't stock them.

Stick with OEM, it should be around $23-$25 at the dealer parts counter.

 

Agreed. Factory filters are extremely good. You won't get this level of filtration in the aftermarket.
