Aftermarket Radio intergrated w/ HFL

Just purchased 05' 6MT Non-navi... And I was wondering if anyone has integrated the HFL with an aftermarket headunit... I know how to integrate the steering wheel volume controls. I figure I could just tape into the mic or keep the factory radio in the trunk... Any advise... Oh and yea looking to put in this Alpine IVA-W205 or IVA-D105

I don't have a problem doing the custom work to put in the headunit. I just wanted to know if any one has kept the HFL working with the aftermarket headunit. I guess I will be doing some tinkering to see if I can get it to work. If not I will just use the aftermarket bluetooth adapter for the Alpine's. I will keep everyone posted...
