Cool AcuraZine 3G TL Member Highlight #4 (TLFourplay)

Tony has been a great member since day one. He has done an amazing job with his car in my opininon

Hes a fellow army man like myself.

He is 25 years old going to be 26 next month on the 17th of July. He has been in the army for 7 1/2 years now, been a Staff Sergeant since march of 2004. He was born in Wisconsin. He went to Iraq with the 101st Airborne from sep05-sep06. Going to baghdad very shortly for 15 more months with the 2nd SCR (Stryker Cavalry Regiment) . He likes working on cars and staying fit. He has ran 2 full marathons and 2 half marathons.

So lets give it up for Tony TLFourplay and his basass NBP from hell..

Wow, that is slick right there. I'm gonna go trade-in my car and make one that looks like this.

Nice going. Very worthy of a member highlight indeed.

Obiously in top gear.

Was that topped out? Did you do that in England/Europe?

Were you on the left side of the road?

Thanks for your service to your country. Be safe and come home in one piece so you can enjoy that hawt car.

Thanks everyone for the support and help and props. I came to this forum not knowing much about TL's. All I knew was from what I knew when I had a 2000 Accord V-6. This forum is awesome though. I have done every mod so far by myself with the help of various people here and an awesome database of great information. THANKS!!

Actually since you asked I have not but it is still going to happen before I deploy. I just had to put it off because since we were notified of deployment we have been working our butts off with all kinds of training and stuff. I will get there though and expect a good thread on it.

I can hit 150MPH (fuel cutoff) in 5th gear spinning about 200 RPM's less than redline. 6th gear has some room but than again the fuel cutoff is 150mph. If you havent seen my autobahn top speed video thread check it out, shows the limiter engaging. Was done here in Germany on the bahn. And of course I was in the fast lane I have only been beaten by two cars so far. A new M5, and a porsche 911 turbo. I knew they would waste me but I wasnted to mess around. On the other hand I have beaten the new 335i twin turbo 300hp BMW on the bahn and a couple of other nice cars. I am proud of my baby.

Hey TLFourplay, can you find someway to get rid of the stupid limiter so we all can see what the real top speed of the TLS is and what it is really capable of???

Thanks and come home safe

Well unfortunately (unless there is something new out that I dont know about) there isnt a way to do that to the TL. I had a very long conversation with Hondata about 4 months ago and I basically let them know that I would be willing to pay A LOT of money for them to spearhead some R&D on the TL's computer. They told me there are NO plans at all for the TL:'s ECU.
