Acura Window Tiny: Warrany???
Hey guys,
So I just got my 2007 TL-S used with 8,400 miles on it about a week ago and I've been reading the forums and I'm afriad I have fallen victim to the lines in my windows from not having moleskin.
So, my question is this. On my windows, on each window, it says "Acura Temperlite Tech". Does this mean that the tinting was done by Acura? If so, would this be covered in warranty?
Does Acura even do window tinting?

To answer your question, tinting has absolutely nothing to do with Acura...
The Acura info you see on the glass was etched at the factory on the stock untinted glass.
Someone has installed a tint over the glass.
Without moleskins, your tint has a high change of getting scratched....
I actually have to redo my moleskins, with hot weather, they freaken come up, and leave adhesive all over tint.
EDIT: Congrats on the car, enjoy

I figured that it didn't have anything to do with Acura, I was more of hoping it did.
So, I live in Austin, TX and it has been upper 90's, low 100's for the past two weeks and I'm sure it will stay this way until September. Is there any reason I should strip the windows and have them redone with moleskin installed when it is this hot? Is the moleskin just going to leave this sticky adhesive all over the windows?
Lemme know your thoughts.

Congrats on the new car. I used to live in Austin. Right off grand ave parkway! I miss it there too. I wanna move back!!!!
To answer your question...if the tints look fine now, then just get moleskin installed. That should get you squared away.
