Hi everyone, I'm new here and am looking to purchase a used 2007 tl type s. Apparently most of the used type s's on the market have dark leather in them. Are there any aftermarket companies available that can re-upholster a tl-s in a tan color?

Anyways, I would appreciate any info

the TL-S is/was offered in a taupe interior which is tan/very light gray.

don't buy tan, whnever you finish driving it you'll be cleaning it. every little spot shows up.

i agree....the tan leather looks really good because almost no one has it......but a b**ch to keep clean

I have an 07 TLS MRP with Taupe interior. I love the color, and it's nowhere near as hard to keep clean as some of you may think. I clean and condition my leather every 3 months. Yes, some dirt does build up in that time. But it comes off very easily with a good leather cleaner. I've seen other threads by owners of the Ebony/Silver interior claiming that they've had problems with premature leather wear.
IMO if you care for your interior regularly (Clean/condition) and use quality leather care products, the Taupe is not going to be a problem. This color actually holds up quite well. My interior still looks and feels brand new.

No shit it's not tan, but seeing as tho the 07 TL-S is NOT OFFERED with tan, his best bet would be to find one with Taupe which is the closest thing to tan. Much easier to do that than to reupholster the entire interior. Jackass...
