Acura TL quad exhaust tips

I have a RRP Acura TL '05. One of my favorite mods for an Acura is quad exhaust tips. However, I am pretty new to this, and I am not sure- do you have to have a certain body kit to install this?

i think you will have to have the TL-S bumper to fit quads..

I think maybe the 4G section is suited better for you.

If you're talking about the TL Type-S quad exhaust, then you need either a Type-S rear bumper, or a Type-S rear A-Spec lip for it to fit.

There are aftermarket Y-style quad tips that can be welded on base exhaust that fit the base bumper though.

Aftermarket quads will fit fine on a stock bumper, genuine oem TL-S quads will be slightly too big on a non-type-s bumper.

The question is how big you want your exhaust tips to be. That will determine if you need the type s bumper or not.

The TL-S quads will actually fit a base 04'-06' bumper with the black plastic trim pieces removed around the exhaust port openings..won't look that great but they will fit.

If I remember correctly, the gap in the exhaust opening WITH the inserts in is 6 1/4 inches. So basically if the width of the 2 tips is less than that it'll fit.

Those look awesome, exactly what I want for mine. Where did you get these? A certain brand or size that I need to make sure I get?

I got these way back when when they were inexpensive. SO CAL Autosports a vendor who posted in your thread has them available now.

^If you have a Base Rear A-Spec lip, no. If you have a Type-S rear A-Spec lip, yes.

Curtis- with the ASPEC rear you already have, the weld-on tips I have on my RRP as well as the pic pohljm posted would work great. Read through the $67 Mod thread above and you will see more examples.

Contact a vendor. There's a listing of vendors under the "Off Topic" tab at the top of the screen. It's called "Sponsored Sales and Group Buys".

The "3" Polished Quads" will fit with no aspec kit. Click the following link and scroll about halfway down to see pictures of these installed on GeeTeeDan's base TL.
