Acura TL bumper mod?
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I just bought myself 2008 TL with navigation and was wondering where i can get a good looking lips kit, or something like that. I also read about the A spec bumpers and can you guys tell me what that is?

Hello Ricer,

The only 'bumpers' you claim are the ronjon bumper (www.ronjonsportdesign.com) and the versus motorsport bumper which is no longer produced.



The only recommended add on lip kit is the OEM a-spec one.

There are vendors and group buys for the OEM a-spec lip kits.
There is no such thing as an 'aspec bumper.' The a-spec body kit is an add on (front sides and rear).

yes.

they will try to get you to pay lots and lots of money for it.
the vendors on our site have the cheapest available prices. I would not pay more than 800 for an entire kit.

How much would the A-Spec lips (front and back) cost from the dealer?

It depends on the regions. Some may as cheap as online , but almost dealers will charge you way over .

+1 And don't let the dealer try to charge you to install the lip kits once you get them. Each piece goes on pretty easily. Just make sure you ask for the installation instructions to be printed out because sometimes the instructions are not included for some reason.
