Acura Secret Agent(s)?!
Curious about this.. BMW NA has representatives that chat on some forums and they talk to the owners sometimes when there is a customer service issue or major issue with the car. Obviously if there was an Acura rep. on here he/she wouldn't jump out and say suprise, but has anyone ever posted a problem and received a PM suggesting that you contact a certain department or person at Acura to get your issue(s) resolved?

Well, we do know that Acura reps/execs/engineers do cruise these boards. They rarely make themselves known, however. The last time I recall one being on the board was just after the 3G TL was released, and they wanted to know about the quality of the door panels/pockets or some such.

Plus a lot of what was done to the 07 TL-S, was the mods that a lot here were doing. Nicer foot pedals, backup camera, blacking out headlamps and side markers, etc.

Oh, man, this is REALLY weird.
Right after I read this thread, I got a PM from an alleged Acura Engineer asking me not to inform you that I had got a PM from him.
Big Brother really IS watching. But don't tell him that I told you.
Crap. I shoulda kept my mouth shut. I hope he doesn't screw up my car remotely via the Navi or something.

I agree with jupitersolo, a lot of mods done and discussed on this board are in the new type-s, exhaust, headlights, darker color wheels, taillights, interior lighting etc... I have been on this board since I had my 2000 TL and they must be looking to put this into their product. Buy a Type-s and there is not much to do.

I too believe they have "someone" monitoring the forums.. They would definitely be missing out on an enormous marketing/social engineering tool.
However, given the massive amount of chatter/discontent focused on rattles and paint mismatch, one would have thought they would have picked up on that........

Pssssst!! Acura man!,, Fix the above two issues in the 4G TL. IMHO those are the current Gen's only disappointments (w/exception to AWD and 400hp....of course)...
