After, look at the site my friend IM me. I not really digging the new look...especially the foglight and the wheel...what up with that???
Like = extra sticting on seats (hoprfully corrected the butt print issue)
quad exhaust on type S
that extra hole on the rear bumper
tail light kinda cool
side mirror turning light
reverse cam
Dislike= foglight (what were they thinking)
wheel look small
new guage
smoke out side markers
steering wheel

I definately agree though, the TL-S wheels are freaking hideous!!!

If there's a way to upgrade our Nav to that system without spending thousands, I'd seriously consider it. The NavTraffic setup is a Godsend to those of us in places like NYC and Los Angeles.

Would be funny if those of us who go out and buy th Type S and on 2008 Acura changes the entire design of the car...just like it has done on previous models, Integra, Civic etc....

Acura should have modified an APSEC offering for current owners of cars rather than replacing all the things that we already love. I'm not digging all the changes. What I am curious is if someone could make a list of each individual change and if it could be retrofitted to our cars and even better, the part numbers and cost to do so. Anyone have time to do this?

This is funny...a lot of TL owners seem to want the greatest car in the world for less than 35K...The car is praised for being the best bang for the buck. But that still seems to not be good enough...some of you guys want more HP, more features, AWD, all this shit, and still be 15K less than the competitors...come on now, talk about wanting your cake and eating it too...
Its obvious they're going to the AWD platform next design. Everybody talking shit about Acura here saying how they dont know what they are doing blah blah blah...they knew enough to get you to like their current car and buy it. They knew enough to design a car that is constantly breaking monthly sales records
everybody was expecting them to change to AWD for the MMC. Patience, they will do this, this is the direction they are headed in....
the Tl is a great car, compared to the g35, is350, and the 3 series, it did GREAT in head to head reviews...second fastest to 60 (just behind the IS350), fastest lane change, best skidpad performance. REALLY REALLY REALLY sexy to look at. Huge backseat, and very comfortable....
Really what the fuk do you want more????

The worst part is that the new platform 3 series and the G35 will probably have significantly better handling than its predecessors while the TLS is just a minor upgrade (if even that) without the SH-AWD. I think many are just disappointed with Acura

You want acura to compete with those cars, would you be happy if they were priced at mid 40's to 50 and competing/beating those same cars???
And all this talk about handling this and handling that...fuk you're not a race track, and if you were it probably wouldnt be with a TL, and if it were it would be with a heavily modified TL....
I think its funny how this handling debate is so life or death with some people. I understand you dont want a car that flies left and right and feels like it cant take a turn at anything more than 15 mph...but the TL is not this car anyways, it handles pretty good for a car in general, let alone a FWD.

My advice than would be buy a G35....
its like..."Im really not happy with you Acura, there's better out there, and for the same price, but Im still gonna purchase your car"
Thats what I dont get about some of you guys....if the G35 has everything you want, get the G35, if the new 3 series has what you want, get the 3....
Remember, the people on this forum that want over 300hp, and awd and all this other shit, well you guys are a minority...just look acura Tl sales, and it will show you

lol, this is too funny. I bet the same things were written on this board when Acura came out with the Type-S in 03. bla bla bla. It's not a redesign, it's a face lift half way through the generation. I personally think every change they made looks great and is for the better. Except for those wheels, they are god aweful, even the non type-s 07's on the black car. Just wait, of course Acura will come out with a lip kit that will fit the new fornt and rear bumpers. Best of both worls, new Type-S additions, + an updated A-Spec kit (just like how Acura changed the kit from 01 to 02) I can't wait to see this in person. Anyone know the actual new colors they will be coming out with for the Type-S model?

You can count on me that I will NOT be trading my 2004 for that 2007 Type-S. It doesn't have enough changes for me to consider trading what I already have.
Perhaps in 2008 or 2009 when Acura decide to REALLY make this a fastER sedan, like 350hp engine......... I'm happy with my current supercharged TL.

It would be like if GM made the Z-06 option on the vette only have an additional 20hp, and give it gay head-lights, etc, and then charge $15 grand for it. People that want 500+hp vettes are probably in the minority too, look at the sales figures. More people buy the base C6 than the Z06. But that doesn't change what a Z06 is or is supposed to be.
Or to be more realistic. It would've been like if mistsubishi never made the Evo, and instead rebadged the Lancer OZ-Rally edition as the Evo.

After I bought mine in 02,they completely changed the whole car........and at the time I was annoyed.People kept asking why I didn't buy the "New Better "TL,but I was happy with mine and didn't let it bother me..........although I for sure was envious,so I know the sinking feeling some people out there might feel seeing the "New Better "Type S.

hmmmmm.......guess my logic sucks then...............all in all minus the crappy wheels the 07 typeShas potential, especially once that blower comes out...can't wait to see dyno numbers of a 3.5L typeS with S/C.

This is definitely a big improvement,
I think the 07 TL-S looks pretty good actually. The only thing that really needs to go is those UGLY wheels. The regular wheels looks way better.

I bought my 03 in 04 when the new body was already out. Couldn't afford the new body style. Plus I got the Type-S 03 model which fuckin rocks so for me the 07 Type-S might be somethign worth considering since again I wont be able to afford the 09 when it comes out.

it would be nice if a cheaper Pro-Cat system is developed since the type-S will create greater demand I'm sure(hope?)
That sucks ^^ what Vortech said.........what about Ripp??

At first, I was upset at the thought of a Type-s coming out since my car is fairly new, but after looking at the pictures and hearing some of the facts, Iam not upset anymore. You would be paying alot for little things on that car. I think it looks alot like the Tsx. I would also not pay that much for a Type-s and would probably get the G35.
But, I do plan on getting the headlights and the side mirrors and retro-fitting them on my 05 TL. The taillights are debatable

A car is only as good as the competition makes it and in this case, the TLS = disappointment.

Let's just begin the countdown until Sept. 1 when Acura makes its official announcement of the 2007 TL and TL-S. We need to keep in mind that the pricing that we are hearing is just speculation at this point. Journalists are looking at what Acura is adding for '07, and saying, "well, if I were Acura, I would raise the price of the base TL to $XX,XXX, and I would set the base price for the TL-S at $XX,XXX."
No one knows yet, so let's try to remain calm until Sept. 1. It'll be here before we realize it. I promise.
