acura mechanics stealing light bulbs
So I just started noticing that my daytime driving lights aren't working anymore, they used to work, but then I noticed my right high beam was not working. Checked the fuse, everything was fine. Brought it into the dealership to have it serviced and they found that the the high beam plug was disconnected and the DRL bulbs were missing!
I had it serviced two weeks before for a rattle at another dealership and they had it for the whole day, drove 18 miles on it, and didn't fix anything. Can't believe they stole my bulbs...

I haven't confronted the first dealership that did the service. The second dealership is still working on the car ATM, I hope I don't have to pay for new bulbs.
Should I call the first dealership and complain or should I just call Acura Customer Care instead?

I would do both. That way, if it goes as far as corporate, they cant say they didnt know about the issue....
you can better argue your case that way then. working in customer service myself i know that facts mean EVERYTHING.
if you tell the dealership, and they dont do anything then you bet your ass better be calling coporate because coporate WILL do something to help you, and address the dealership.
As far as paying goes, I dont think that you should have to if you still have the warranty.... but i dont know for sure.
sorry to hear about that - dishonest people ruin it for the rest of us

good thing it was only 18 miles and they didnt pull a Ferris Bueler but at the same time, 18 miles is stupid.... as far as stealing stuff... who knows.. maybe inventory is too hard to steal from and maybe they needed some, or they are trying to hook friends up with some spare parts... xenons are expensive... like $26/each. idk, kids are stupid... and most of the garage people are kids... well the detailers are... where i am from lol...
then again,
i personally know 3 idiots who are my age (19) that are locked up for working at Honda and chopping cars for people to collect insurance on.... just goes to show why people steal and do stupid stuff.

That's pretty ghetto. I'll keep in mind to stay away from that place. What dealership are you at currently? I've been using Glendale of Acura lately and they've been giving me superb service so far.

it might not be the mechanics but maybe a car porter who are not compensated like the techs. either way that dealership is one messed up place. nowadays it just seems that if you car is someone else's hands, you have to inspect every nut and bolt when you get it back before you leave to make sure everything is not missing or damaged.
