Acura dealership loaner
What kind of loaners are you guys getting from the Acura dealership(Ryans Open Rd -NJ)?
I had to bring my 04 TL in twice for more than a oil change and I have been given hyundi and a ford from enterprise. I have a 99 InfinitiQx4(Ray Catena) and everytime I need service and request a loaner I get a G35 or I30.

My dealer gave me a TSX once, a TL the last 2 times. I am quite disappointed with the TL I have now...looks nice (SSM/Ebony), but it is full of trash and has something spilled all over the passenger seat...that and it drives like someone has ragged it out (I know, I know, loaner, duh).

I generally get a TSX from my current dealer. I just dropped off my 05 TL this morning to have the A-Spec suspension installed and they were out, so I ended up with a Dodge Stratus from their rental car company Oh well, at least the rental agent was a total hottie
Last dealership was strictly rental cars, whcih generally meant a Maxima or GM SUV.

Got a second-generation TL the last time. The interior was rather beat up. I usually don't request a loaner because they have a shuttle service to the subway. The subway stops across the street from my office.

It's been TL's so far. Gonna try for an RL next time I need a loaner.

They gave me a TSX for a day and a half.
Does anybody here request the car they want or request a car without the huge LOANER CAR sticker on the back windshield? The sticker is butt ugly.

My loaners never have those terrible stickers, but I'm never brassy enough to ask for a particular loaner. You are immediately labeled pain in the :ass" if you do that. I'm glad to take any Acura they give me.

The last 2 times I asked for an MDX...always out. Didn't bother asking this time...good thing...bastards kept my car for 6 days! Dropped it off Saturday and I can get it today...all to replace a heat shield and fix a tweeter rattle. Supposedly the heat shield didn't come in until yesterday. Regardless, I've been driving this ragged out TL for 6 days...but given the length of time, it's better than the MDX...mileage is better...

Some of these dealers only have a limited supply of Acura loaners. Its best to drop the car off early for service. otherwise, you may end up with a rental car loaner.

I get TSX loaners, both have been brand new. I had the first one (white) for a week, and it had 396 miles on it when I got it and 1400 on it when I returned it (I drive a lot). Now I have a SSM TSX loaner with 2400 miles on it (had 1932 when I got it Saturday).
Nalley Acura gives out nice loaners, but this TSX looks a little beat up already.

When I tried taking the 03' in to Ron Tonkin Acura to have the tranny recall done, they denied me the warranty work, and said I couldn't get a loaner when I did get it done. When I took it to Acura of Portland, I got a Ford Explorer. When I brought the 03' in to have the tranny replaced at the same dealer a month later, I got a Ford Explorer from enterprise again.
I traded that car in, and got an 05' TL. Brought it in for some warranty work, and got an 05' MDX w/Navi as a loaner. My coworker brought his 05' in to have the Navi replaced a the same dealer, and got a TSX as a loaner. That MDX was wierd, because the dealer left the window sticker on the car. (Just the part with the price, not the part with the description of standard equipment) It MSRPed at 49k with the options it had installed. Everyone at work thought I was trying to show off, by leaving the window sticker on the car.
The two times I got a loaner from Infiniti, when I brought my G35 in, I either got a G35 or an FX35 loaner. (They actually asked me which I wanted)

The TSX is that pale blue color which is horrible... but it's better then driving in a chevy aveo

I usually get either a TSX or RSX, whichever is available. Of course, I prefer the TSX but it's really tough driving that no-power thing for a day or two.

never stops!
My local dealer do not give loaner for regular services, only shuttle if offerred. For warranty work if you are lucky you might get an Acura else mostly 96 Camry from Enterprise.

Any bay area dealers give out acura loaners? ... i went to stevens creek and they gave me an f150 from enterprise and this time i got a grand prix also from enterprise ... dont want enterprise tho ... i want an acura loaner

I like the rear sensors...i got them for my wife and she likes them. Definitely better than hitting a pole, but at the same time the sensors have a slight chance of missing poles (line of sight). I got it bundled in my total price, so it wasnt too bad. Looks good on NBP, but I have seen it on white and it dosnt look so hot...to each his own though.
Two different tones of beeps for the outer bumper and the straight back shot, so good investment I think.

sorry.l..didnt see the backup camera question...
currently you can only get that installed at a car stereo place and not through acura itself...but a guy I know quoted me about $350 for camera and install, but the camera is housed in a license plate frame...so...i didnt really go for it.

I couldn't drive the hyundi all weekend so Friday night I went to take my car for the weekend. A 05 TL -AM was available so I got to take that one. My first experience with the automatic...wouldn't trade my 6MT for anything.
