The switchblade key fob is a good idea, but why has Acura made it into the face of an angry and constipated robot, instead of the familiar smiling face of a Martian lady?

hey guys, first post
I for one am pretty excited about the new S design. Sure, some of it is a little off, rims but hey, that can be fixed. I think the interior is way cool and if you think about the MSRP (not what you can get a 06 for now, but the actual MSRP) it is only, what, 2k more? I think it is worth it for all the nick-nacks you get.
One thing though, someone please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the 06 manuals come with a 22mm RSB, where as the type-s comes with a 20mm? What gives?
One more thing, when will these be in the dealers?

here's what is says:
The standard TL interior continues its tenor of understated elegance with stylish new features, like a multi-function three-spoke steering wheel and an updated, dynamic face for the gauge cluster. The center panel for models without the navigation system* has been redesigned for a more refined appearance, and now there is subtle, blue ambient lighting for the center console and footwells .
* Navigation system and real-time traffic available only in the 48 contiguous United States.

I do like the changes to the '07.
I think they made a lot of nice "improvements" however, they should have done this earlier. Acura "TL" seems a little "behind" other auto manufacturers when it comes to the steering wheel, instrument panel and "integrated" key, foglights and side-view mirror/signal lights, etc.
It seems silly though, why they waited to do this on the '07, when they are going to "overhall" the car in '08 anyways?
Just my

Overall I really like the 07 base but I have 2 questions/points:
Why did they have to put a 3rd sidemarker light on this car? It already has a blinking light on the front side and the odd red one near the tail. Now a 3rd one on the mirror???
I looked all over the site for the A Spec offering and could not find it. Are they doing away with the A Spec package now or does this come out for the 07 a little later down the road.
Thanks!

I think you can purchase the Aspec still, but I'm not sure.

Noticed it still has the cassette player. Funny, when we bought our 06 the dealer said it will be discontinued for the 07. But who really uses a cassette player anymore.
Also, do NOT like those new wheels at all!

acutally they will rehaul the 09 TL, and do another MMC for the 08 model.

RE: 07' iginition
Perhaps to get a better idea of the cost of the 07' ignition system is to find out how much the 04'-06' ignition system is, then we might get an idea of how much it will at least cost; of course it will be more expensive though. But at least we will have a base line to start from.
In addition to the ignition system, I'm pretty sure that the driver side key-hole will have to be changed also, and hopefully two keys will be included when an ignition system has been purchased, if not, things could be even more expensive. And this is before labor, dealer costs, of which, we will be at their mercy....

New Seats:
"In both the TL and TL Type-S, the seats have new high-damping seat foam. The new foam improves ride comfort by isolating the driver from road imperfections. It also features a uniform cellular structure that is evenly cross linked, so that the load is distributed evenly to reduce driver fatigue."
"Re-designed seats with softer leather"
"The TL's seat is revised with slightly lower shoulder wings for improved comfort."
