ASM 2007 TL Type-S spotted on the 91 fwy tonight. Dual exhaust tips, new tailights and fogs in the lower grill. I was on the 91 traveling east cutting across to the slow lane (break in traffic) and looked to the left and saw the exhaust tips and taillights and thought it couldnt be. I looked back and made out fog lights in the grill. I slowed down, but the Type-S never caught back up.

i'll probably end up only paying 2K more for the '07 than what some people paid for the '06 only a few short weeks ago. I live in a competitive market with many Acura dealers.

i like the rear camera on the 2007.

Even the base 2007 TL has many new features. I had planned to buy a '06 but I'm glad I waited.

- new leather, better seats
- new MID and controls via new steering wheel
- better Nav, Zagat, rear view camera
- new key fob and starter
- fog lights
- side markers
- MP3 link
- new transmission
- new springs
and more...

Not a fan of the Type S though (wheels, red display, dark chrome)
to each his own....

Looks like the rear bumper of the base '07 TL has a long, narrow opening on the bottom. Not sure if I like that.

It's odd that you can't buy the rear lip spoiler separately.

they keys and the remote are cool too. they finally built it into one. the key even folds away into the remote so it's not so bulky in your pocket. why didn't they think of that before?!

It has the same transmission. Maybe different 6mt but auto is the same.

Leather seats are the same type. Everything else I bet you can add to the current TL's.

well, I already have a TL, I don't think I would trade mine in for a new one. I am not the type to get 2 of the same cars consecutively. I look forward to swapping out the tail lights though.

I like added Dolby ProLogic II – basically any stereo (2 channel) source can be played using all speakers using multi channel equalization. Before 2007 model there was no way of using all the speakers while playing XM or CD’s.

I am confused about Type-S seats.
Vtec.net site shows the following seats as Type-S, but Acura.com site says that Type-S model will only get two-tone seats which I do not like

Can we say that these seats are not available anymore?

Yeah, it really looks good! I wonder if I could replace it with the crappy looking one I got on my non-navi 06 TL.

- Trim on base TL
- non-navi area where a navi screen would be
- Where the original fog lights where in the 04-06 looks sharper and cleaner
- The fence looking material just behind the Acura emblem
- MP3 & WMA PLAYBACK CAPABILITY!!!
- AUX INPUT!!!
- Updated HFL to synch w/ cell phone address book


DISLIKES:
- Wheels
- The new lowered fog lights aren't that great to me
- Not really a big fan of the new tail lights on the base TL

The big question is what can I replace in my 06 TL with 07 stuff. Everything under "LIKES" appears to be a simple swap w/ the exception of the non-navi area I think.

features look nice, but i was glad to get my 06 on saturday, they gave me an even better deal since the 07 was arriving soon.... =)

I love everything about the Type-S, except the wheel/options.

Stock wheels look horrible, and your only options are 18 inch (expensive) summer wheels. Why is there no option to have the non Type S wheels on the Type S?

If it has the Illimunitated door sills thats hot. I hope they could put that in my 06. I was planning on getting the A-Spec Rims but now that they have them on the stock 07 I dont think its really worth it. 07 looks real good though, but its better to wait till 09 for the AWD system

if i ever get the 07 TL, the very first thing i will do is to find a set of 04-06 TL taillights and switch them, what's up with the clear taillights ? and those ungly wheels, i guess this way they'll force more ppl to buy the 18" a-spec rims.....

haha i agree more ppl will be forced to get the 18 " cause of those rims lol they r CSX rims go to acura.ca look for CSX they uses the similar rim same as the inside the side panel is from the CSX =.= CSX and TL thgey r 2 different level =.= some of the improvement r nice but most of them rn't what i like haha

rims, side mirror lights, back bummer, tail light, and the new inside TRIM OMG like WTH is with that trim ... it;s NICE but i m 19 those trim won;t fit me haha MAYBE they saved the CF trim for the TYPE S so it will be SPECIAL haha =.=
