Accord Fog Lights with Projector retro

As per Roger, everyone knows what it is capable of and has seen this before. I have posted pictures with them in and the output on the garage door. If someone has anymore questions they will ask, as per selling them I don't think "better" pictures with a camera I don't have would be needed to sell them because my service is to put the two (fogs+projectors) together. Everyone knows what a projector is and the accord fog lights. I am not trying to be cocky or a dick, but if I made the projector then I would see if someone wants pictures but this MOD has been done before and its 100% better with output. No one comes to me or JNC and says make the headlights or tail lights and show me pictures first, they trust that it will come out perfect because we have done it before and specialize in that service. If I created my own tail light or headlight, then I would see how people would want to see pictures. I have a picture of it mounted on page two and page three I have one with it on facing the light and one with the output on my garage door and even though the cut off line is there and distorted because I am a foot away from the door, the output is excellent. I am not neglecting questions, and will answer any concerns, but I felt that comment came after me and I stand behind my products. Lighting can be adjusted left or right and up and down depending on how one installed the kit so just throwing that out there. If one wants this product I make them for $280 plus shipping is what I said and I have created mine so I know what it takes and made sure I could handle it before I offered the service.

That picture I posted above is what the inside of the blazer projector looks like.
Yeah. A projector is meant to project the light through the lens and that is how it magnitudes the light output. The chrome plating is for halogen housing headlights that need to reflect off of it to create its output, which the chrome part is 100% needed.

Example Picture #1 is a blazer fog light is good condition. Pic # 2 the chrome has melted off. Yes it still works but you lost all your color and you've created a hotspot in the center of your beam pattern
I've seen some pretty shitty retros and some of them where from people who "specialize" is this type of work, they even have their own web site but still pass off shitty retros.
I'm just curious I am obviously a DIYer I would never have someone else do this type of work for me I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction doing it myself too much. I just wanted to see the attention to details in the area between the projector and the accord fog light. Also from the looks of your only picture it seems you kept the area chrome which means your probably didn't remove the lens. I would image most people would prefer these to be blacked out.

A regular foglight, or headlight, has a chrome reflector housing.
A projector, though some may not know, also has a chrome reflector housing. Depending on the shape of the bowl of the housing, the chrome-reflector and the type of lens your light output can vary.
The blazer-fog does have relatively good light output and cut-off but it is known to also be a relatively 'cheap' fog [which is not entirely a good/bad thing too].
But when paired with a set of DDM-Tuning HIDs it can have the potential to be troublesome... hence the bubbled-reflectors that Roger has provided a picture of.
Now, you're probably thinking that HIDs run cooler than halogens... that is true.
But in a tight space HIDs can run quite hot! And in fact, DDM-Tuning HIDs are known to run hotter than other HID kits.
An example of how hot DDM-Tuning HIDs are is this:
One time, I accidently left the plastic-bulb-protector on the HID as I was testing my retrofits. In the span of 3 seconds the plastic-bulb-protector began to melt considerably---the HID was still in the 'warming' stage as well.

If you notice, it's flat just at where the lens are. I do not think the Accord fogs were like that. @Roger, I did misunderstand which chrome reflector you were talking about. I will let you know if my blazers become distorted in any way. Thanks for the heads up!
@04Komodo I noticed the same thing about those projectors, they have some kind of "frame" around them not sure how they made that. But, it looks very good.
@Ack do you have any pictures of how the fogs look, meaning how you have sealed and secured them.

I finished my fogs. I just wanted to share a little bit of info on how i did them.
First of all, mine are not perfect and i'm fine with that. The cut off line for mine came out a little bit crooked but again I am fine with that. The hardest part i had with these was trying to get the projectors to stay in the fogs. They do not fit exactly in the housing. I used JB weld and a small aluminum piece to hold it together.
I will take more picture if anyone wants some.
All lights on ( its hard to see)

What kind of projectors did you go with? Are you going to check the chrome plating after a while to see if it's peeling or burning from the 55w kit?

Sandals, your pics made me wonder... were you able to remove the lower fascia grills without dropping the A-Spec lip? When I looked at mine, it seemed like I would have to drop the lip in order to pop those out.

Thanks guys. Isn't there double sided tape holding the front lip on? I would think lowering/removing the lip would be a real pain due to the tape... can you clarify? My car has the A-Spec lip kit already installed, so I have no experience with the install process.
I also want to remove the intake silencer which involves removing the front bumper. The lip doesn't have to be removed to take the whole bumper off, does it?

Holy crap, fast response. I found the bumper removal DIY vid from SanDiegoDrive, so you're saying I'll just have to pull back the A-Spec lip in order to access some of the screws in the wheel well? Thanks for the help dude.
