yeah, but it would look retarded since the blazer projectors are small and the 07-08 fogs are substantially bigger than accord fogs. It will probably look out of place.

It would look better just because you use the lights at night and all you see is the projector itself, no matter what its in. Its no much bigger than the accord fogs and well to have 3" headlight projectors and 3" inch fog lights would look too crazy and out of place. I would stick with the smaller ones and I can do this for the 07-08 but buying an OEM set would set me back as its almost 4x at much as the accord fogs. I may look into buying a 07-08 set and using it as a trade in, but I would need interest. You can always send me your set and I can work on those, since they are fog lights and you don't always need them at night while driving since you have the headlights.

im just concerned on how they would look in the day time with the lights off, i dont want the projectors to look all small.

I need help with mounting these suckers. My bumper makes it a pain to work with. I did the best I could but might have to seek some professional help in trying to securing these better and angling the properly.

If anyone can recommend someone that wouldn't rob me let me kno. I reside in East Brunswick off Rt. 18 right now.

You're really not going to notice a difference between the TL projectors and the Blazers. I have the JDM ES300 foglights, same size as the blazers. Here's what they look like during the day.

Here's a picture from further back:

ES300s FTW!
They are quite ride and shoot relatively far when paired with HIDs!
For some reason my passenger lower fog doesn't have distinct cut-off while my driver side does.

Just so you know, this is a typical error that may people make. See how your fog lights are pushed back a little and aren't flush with the bumper? When you re mount them, pull them forward because I bet they are facing outward and useless. I have seen many people pay for this to get done else where for cheap and not have useless fog lights. Since these aren't meant for our bumper, they can't just be slapped on.

I pushed them back because I think it looks real bad with the foglight bezel mounted flush with the bumper. If you notice I shaved the whole back of the grill off so the grill actually sits in at and angle not strait across like it used to. Its not going to matter with projectors anyways and it will look much better IMO then all the installes i've seen mounted flush with the bumper I just couldn't do it like that.

I have the 07 original set of fogs that I took off, if you wanted to mod them up, we could probably work something out.

I have some adjusting to do but I hooked them up. Really changes the way you percept the TL at night. OH, and it HELPS A LOT at night. These are the bulbs they came with, can't wait to get my HIDs put in.

You have to cut the backing and place the projector accordingly and hold it in place with any kind of bond of your choice.

Did you opt for the ion coated lens or clear lens?
Ion coated gives you yellow light

Alright I test fitted one side, and didn't seal it yet but i have to say the light output is AMAZING! I am really stunned by how sharp it is. I am going to stay up tonight finishing the other side.

Mine originally did not come with HID bulbs but i bought some and they work flawlessly with my ddm kit. With those of you wondering about the heat, i feel like the halogen generated much more heat than the HIDs IMO

of course no pictures yet.

Post up some pictures of your progress. These will not fit if you want a stock intake and the passenger side bottom horn has to be removed.

Are they facing up? Mine fit but the horn being in its way made it face up and I just removed the bottom horn. I just put in a 6k HID kit 55 watt and they light up just as much as the headlights. No longer are our accord fogs useless. I say useless because it may be nice to look at but turn just the accord fogs on and no other bulb, it lights up absolutely nothing. I must say the projectors with the HID kit is just as bright as my headlights, I can't even tell. I have mine facing down just because I have a feeling on coming traffic is going to get pretty pissed off with the light in there eyes since they face outward a tiny bit. I already get high beamed all the time because of my headlights for people thinking I have my brights on, then I turn on my bright to flash back and they probably get confused. Even my friends that drive in front of me ask me to turn them off, I always loved the TL headlights.

Blazer fogs don't have a housing such like a regular accord fog, as its a projector. Its a bulb in a metal casing with a glass lens. Not sure how it will melt a blazer projector and not the accord kit itself.

They don't have a pattern like an accord housing to produce the beam pattern but they have a bowl with a chrome plating(this is the housing). The actual housing is not melting the chrome plating on the housing is bubbling because of the heat.

Its a combination of two things, first the blazers are very cheap fogs and have a lower quality chrome coating to begin with, and the second is the DDM tuning bulbs which have very little salt causing them to run quite a bit hotter then a quality OEM. Add those two condition with the fact that its stuck in a housing with no direct air flow it raises the temperature even further.

The accord fogs have more area inside and have good air flow across the surface as your driving probably one of the reasons we haven't seen problems

You haven't really posted any good pics of your retro or anything how can you already be trying to sell this? Lets see some close ups not taken at night or with a camera phone

@ Roger in regard to the chrome plating in the housing, what i did is spray it with High temp paint from lowes. On the can it said it can withstand 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thats not going to do anything to resist the chrome plating from separating from the bowl. Plus spraying anything over the chrome is going to minimize its Reflectivity and reduce output.

The chrome plating does nothing when you have the projector in the housing. I tested both and saw no noticeable difference between the projector alone vs in the housing.
