Accord Fog Lights with Projector retro

I installed OEM accord fogs a few months back with a HID kit and the amount of glare is unacceptable to even turn on. To make my fogs actually function I will be retro fitting a set of Fog Light projectors inside the accord fogs, specifically the "Blazer" foglight kit. Just wondering if anyone here has done this I know this is a popular mod on some forums.

Here are some examples of the Blazer projectors in the accord housing

I had Rich from HIDIllusionz retrofit my OEM foglights with JDM ES300 foglights, excellent work and great quality. I'm sure it's just like any other retorfit if you're familiar with it. Check out HIDplanet, they should have some how-to's and what not.

lets not clutter up a fog light thread with something completely off topic. red text or not, theres no place for that

I think I will do this. I will let everyone know how difficult it is. If I had to guess it would take me about 3 hours and I would charge $100-$140.

I did this with Lexus ES300 fogs.
Well... at least I planned to. I semi-cut one of the eBay Accord Fogs opened then said "screw it".
I then custom mounted the Lexus ES300 fogs on to my Acura instead and used the OEM Accord fog-wiring with mod'd H3 HIDs [switched the pigtails to H11s for the wiring].

I'm now considering doing something totally different... thinking of putting TL projectors down there---so long as if I can find 3" yellow (stained) clear lens.

If you're planning on doing this with OEM 07-08 fog lights I'm pretty sure you'll have to cut the glass cover off. At least this is what Rich had to do with mine. The whole fog light assemble is made out of metal and he just cut a piece of Lexan plexi glass to fit.

Yes, with the accord fogs you pretty much have to cut the glass cover off. It's the easiest way to approach the retrofit.
Unless, of course, you want to only work at it from behind (it'll be tougher) to keep the OEM glass [or eBay glass/eBay plastic].

The OEM accord fogs are not glass they are some type of plastic. I'm not sure which approach i'll take I need to see how big the blazer fogs are. Actually I want to paint the inside chrome black so I will have to take the plastic out for sure.

Just giving an idea of how much I paid for my retrofit. $300 for the labor, projectors, 3000K HID kit, wire harness.

those blazers are some great fogs. the blazers are OEM for the C5 corvette and many folks use HID kits in them.

here's some pics of them in my C5.

here's a shot of the blazer cutoff vs a PIAA 1100x.

i also installed them on my trailblazer.
