Accord fog light wiring question
I have searched this forum high and low but i dont think anyone else has wired their fogs like i have so please dont yell at me
When i wired my fogs originally i did positive to the battery, negative to ground, and the trigger wire i tapped into the stock foglight and just unplugged the bulbs ( i never liked how they looked anyway). then after a little while i wanted to be able to turn on the fogs on whenever i wanted so i did the independent fog mod. Exactly the same as roger 555 did it here https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-029-diy-independent-fog-lights-stock-switch-772633/. everything works fine but the trigger wire must be hot all the time because my battery dies all the time now. (i unplugged the fogs for a day and the car had no problem starting so i know it definitely has to be the fogs that cause the dead battery). Anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do???
